Fall is usually a case of fighting weather systems, so winds not unusual. February is actually when Ontario usually gets its strongest winds.
I had to research all this stuff when I was designing a radio tower I put in my back yard.
Had to under the rules consult with neighbors, and in the process of that prove to them it was not going to jump off of its substantial foundation and spear though their house in a strong winf.
I did it DIY, and the strong foundation is a 5' square by 6.5' deep heavily reinforced concrete mass.
Neat thing is I live about 4km north of Lake Ontario, and 5' down found a layer of smoothed stones, ala a shingle beach, and the tops of them were all blackened with soot/carbon.
So this was evidence once a long time ago the Lake was a lot larger, and a forest fire burned down to its edge and left its mark on the water smoothed stones.
