I can't watch that movie without thinking of the short tragic life of Judy Garland. When she was a child star, they gave her uppers and downers to keep her working and keep bringing in the movie receipts.

BTW: I think I saw Mickey Rooney on College Street a couple of weeks ago. He must be like 85 years old by now.

You only see him now kneeling down beside anyone who gets a star on Hollywood Blvd. He was a good one though
