Word Games... Why?

KK, so like I started playing these word games in the Lounge section, because
they were fun at start. But now I'm starting to see the same 20 names, over
and over and over again...

So my question is: are these games just designed to drive post counts up, or
is it actually fun to sit by your computer, hitting *refresh* every 5 seconds,
hoping someone replied, so you can get 1 more post count?

If so... Game on! :D

It is what you do when you run out of Viagra.

Quite possibly. Either word games or posting Danish links on a regular basis.
I vote for posting danish links.

Post count builders were the direct backlash to the minimum post rule and grew from there like a virus.

Blame Fred.

Not that those words games or rambling about nothingness threads need defending, I think some of you really have too much time on your hands reading too much into those threads .

And who are we to judge what activities or what threads are more interesting than others , honest ?

So you wannna ramble a bit in the idling thread, play the word games, or yak your rant in the politics forum or comment on B Spears pussy ? Cool, whatever floats ya boat really. No ?

BTW this is one more post intended to drive up post counts.

I played the word games a few times but found them boring (too easy).

If you must boost your post count, I recommend getting involved in a pun thread. A slightly more challanging way to give a bump to your post count. :D

I find the word game threads a little annoying, but the puns that pollute potentially useful or interesting threads are much more annoying. If it were up to me, there would be a separate area for word games that I could ignore, and disrupting a thread with puns would be forbidden. I assume that moderators like puns, so they allow them, while preventing other disruptive posts.
