Seriously what's wrong with php and cgi-bin ? Why add in layers and layers of abstraction just in name of making things easy? To me having to learn a new framework every year as they come out takes more time than just sticking things you already know. The trouble is I am often asked to fix the code written by these new developers who can only use these new blacktop frameworks.
