I don't see why, at least in Canada. We have laws on possession and acquisition.

The U.S. has gun control laws ???? I can walk into a gun show and buy a military assault rife without any paper or ID check - why would I bother to download plans for a handgun 3-D version that costs 20 times the cost of a real gun and disintegrates on the third shot ?
Really makes you wonder why rape, theft and murder are against the law if criminals aren't following the law anyways. :thumb:
Of course they have gun control laws, the point is they're a joke. Yes you can walk into a gun show and buy guns from a private dealer who set up a booth, but the licensed dealers will do a background check on you. Until this loophole gets closed, yes a criminal or mentally insane individual can buy a gun in a private sale. Congress should be ashamed.
In that case why have any kind of laws at all, criminals don't follow laws so why bother. Let's all go to hell in a bread basket. Anarchy reigns. Who ever came up with this bogus civil society concept.

i don'[t understand the defensive bullshit form americans. yes we know you love your guns, yes we know you love your "freedom" (even though you are almost not even in the top 10 on that anymore for personal freedoms) but other parts of the world have gun control laws and far less crime. why is it so difficult for you folks to get the concept that maybe, just maybe the way you are doing it isn't the best way.
its not as simple as more guns = more crime, its a lot more complicated
btw did you know that gun violence in the usa is at an all time low from the 1990s?
maybe it is but it is still higher than just about everywhere. why is it so hard to admit that maybe you are not a perfect country and some other places might be doing it right and better ?
