Looks like the same Astrid formerly of Allisons and VIP. Seen her as an angel and remember her as pretty "open minded" in regards to services and reviews since have indicated that she hasn't changed much. Incredible body for her age - slim and very toned.

Congratulations Astrid

Very nice site. Your rates certainly encourage us to spend more time with you on an appointment. Also, your policy regarding social time above and beyond a 3+ hour paid appointment is fantastic; ground breaking in fact. Good luck to you. :)

Do you bother to register the website and contents with the Copyright Office or do you just put it on the page to make it look professional???
From the US Copyright Office FAQ:

Do I have to register with your office to be protected?

No. In general, registration is voluntary. Copyright exists from the moment the work is created. You will have to register, however, if you wish to bring a lawsuit for infringement of a U.S. work. See Circular 1, section Copyright Registration.

I believe Canada has a similar approach to copyright.

This is not a major 'deal' but for a Canadian copyright to be valid it does NOT need to be registered. For example, a song I have written is considered my copyright as long as I can prove that I am the author.

Actually there are a number of techniques that songwriters use, such as posting a registered letter to myself with the original words and music to a new composition. Many indie Canadian songwriters use this technique. Not necessarily a matter of being ''cheap'' although most of us do not make a living from the music biz and have ''day jobs'' to provide for food, shelter, SPs and other necessities.

Actually.... Joe...

For a copyright to be "Valid"... it must be registerd with the "copyright office".... if i had wanted an "american" opinion... I would have asked for one
Actually, I'm a Canadian. I quoted the American Copyright Office because it had a clear description of the question. If you didn't want an opinion, American or otherwise, then perhaps you should stay away from public boards.

Unless you can back up what you say with actual facts I will take their facts over your opinion. As they state, a work has a copyright from the time it is created. It only needs to be registered in order to file lawsuit.

By the way, in addition to American opinions I welcome intelligent, constructive responses to my post that are backed up with some actual fact.

WhOiSyOdAdDy,

Can you imagine if every photograph that was copyrighted had to be registered? To quote Kelly Bundy..."The mind wobbles."

I am following the guidelines of the Ontario Photography body that I am associated with.

And, as for proving copyright, the person possessing the raw file as saved by the camera software, has a compelling case over the person with just a web formatted jpg.

Georgian...

it is easy to "send" a registerd letter to oneself... now.. proving the contents of a " registered" letter is a different story
Obviously the registered letter would not be opened. You would save it and, in the event of a copyright dispute, open it in the presence of a lawyer.
