You exchange numbers with a SW and she gave you her text app number. Is that acceptable to you?

It is a way of getting in touch so what does it matter? If you don't like it, don't accept it, that is about the only choice you would have.
Right but clients can make that same argument in contacting escorts and escort agencies with a text app number but they don’t accept that.
I use a text app and if not accepted I move on because there are so many choices to choose from and the SP can do the same. She offers you a way to contact her which is a text app. You either accept it or move on, it really is that simple.
I think the SW's circumstances are a lot different than the client. I don't blame them for not accepting booking throug apps, or for using apps themselves.
I only accept a genuine phone number, an updated CV and a short bio and two reference letters
This. SWs have to deal with harassment, time wasters, etc. but clients don't. OP's argument doesn't really make sense.

SW’s don’t like clients who use text apps because it makes it harder for them to screen which makes them riskier clients.
If she has given you her text # to keep in touch, you have obviously met her already, verified her identity, enjoyed her company, and would like to keep in touch. Trying to equate these two situations makes no sense; they are not the same thing.
It just seems like you have an axe to grind for some reason?
