A friend of mine told me that organized crime had connections at Bell/Rogers and other ISP's that could trace your IP address to your name. Think twice about this when posting derogative comments. There is software out there that can alter the IP subnets to make it untraceable, something ISP's might not know about.

You don't need "connections" to do a reverse DNS lookup, route tracing, or any other such tracking. All you need is the tools, a bit of reading, and some patience.
