YouTube stopped working

So YouTube isn't working.

First, I noticed all my usual leads gone. Then, all political videos removed themselves. Later - playback error on every single video... none of my friends are able to play YouTube either.

Glitch? Coincidence? Cover up?

Somebody posted some real information with proof about the Corona virus. It was spreading like wild fire so they have to lock it all down and get rid of it.

It's the timing of this glitch and dissappearance of usual content that makes one wonder. It was down for over an hour. Some of my friends didn't have home internet at the same exact time.

Have you ever met someone new and the next thing you know Facebook sends you a notice suggesting you may know them?

Or perhaps Twitting about a product/merchandise and then having advertisements pop up in your browser suggesting you buy it?

All Google has to do is change their algorithm and they decide what information you see or don't.

Maybe it's nothing, maybe something.
