We went to the Montreal race pre covid, a great time. Now the weekend would be waaay too expensive:I've been to dozens of F1 races, most in the Paddock Club and it is indescribable. Except for the VIP Pit Walks, I didn't often get into the pit when people were working, and never during a race but you are right. Incredible people, you can't imagine the professionalism and how finely tuned even the back marker teams operate. There is nothing like it! And the sound!!!!! Back in the 2002-2003 BMW V10 engine days, the noise HURT even through the earplugs! It shook my bones and still gives me goosebumps. I haven't been to a race in the current V6 Turbo era so can't compare but I imagine it is still awesome. But it really has become too expensive. My way was always a fully paid ride and can't imagine paying a couple thousand for a weekend in Montreal now. But .. mayyyybee if it's a nice weekend I might try a last minute road trip this year!
If anyone gets the opportunity, go! It's like a magic mushroom trip in terms of the experience being indescribable. If you are a fan of F1 it really is worth going at least once!
RPM is priceless and is spot on re the inbred Lance. Stroll's antics today wrecked Riccardo's race.A must watch
I can't believe he had the balls to say "someone" in front of him hit the brakes. lol Ricciardo was really pissed, he held his composure in the post race interviews.RPM is priceless and is spot on re the inbred Lance. Stroll's antics today wrecked Riccardo's race.
Unreal, he is the classic definition of a spoiled rich kid.Can it get any worse.
Ricardo basically did the same thing to his teammate not that long ago. He crashed into Max as Max was slowing down for a corner. Never seen Horner so pissed.I can't believe he had the balls to say "someone" in front of him hit the brakes. lol Ricciardo was really pissed, he held his composure in the post race interviews.
First time I heard that rumour.Numerous reports of Newey planning to leave RedBull. Nothing from him on the subject but being reported by almost everyone who covers F1 including Autosport and Sky.
If he does go elsewhere that will certainly shake things up for 2026 when the new engine regs start.
It's been all over the F1 socials, some legit...some not. So take that for what it's worth.First time I heard that rumour.
Maybe he is retiring?
F1 is a grind.
LOL, yeah Sauber has some issues. It's been all over the F1 socials, some legit...some not. So take that for what it's worth.
I think teams are lining up dumptrucks of money in front of his house to get him. He's the key to any team's future success. Not Sauber though... they need pit people! lol
He is leaving RB, but not leaving RB.
