Anyone know where to buy good donuts?

I have a hankering for the old Tim Hortons style chocolate dips (that were freshly baked and had that yeast taste, not the flash frozen ones today that taste dried out). Sobeys used to bake them as well and they were good but not anymore.

Anyone know a place that sells good donuts? Don't care about all the fancy schmancy artisan donuts with sprinkles and shit. Just good donuts.

Your best bet for good doughnut is Coffee Time (Apple Fritter is great). Alternatively Krispy Kreme (Raspberry Filled/Crème Filled).

This is a fantastic suggestion.
It’s been ages since I’ve been out that way. I’m going to make a point of going next week.

San remo is great! I was there on Friday and picked up some cannoli. Next time Imma going to grab some yeasted chocolate dipped donuts like the OP is craving. 😋

If you're looking for original Tim Horton's style, Granddad's in Hamilton (Corner or James St. N. and Burlington St.) can't be beat.
I was about to say they're highly recommended.

place in Kingston on division street called IIRC Coffee Way
Local shop, make their own stuff. Everything huge, if you take out in a bag, the bag gets a bit moistened.
Large choice of donuts you don't see elsewhere.

I'd gladly kill you, everyone on Terb and everyone they love just for half a Brownie.

Fanfucking tastic. When I'd bring some back home and pass them out, everyone went sex nuts and special needs strong over them.

Easy to get to, hard to find. Take the Division street exit on the 401 south [to the river] It's just past the cop shop opposite [west side/right side] It faces south so it's hard to spot but it's in a very tiny mini mall with a pizza place.

472 Division St, Kingston, ON K7K 4B1

Another vote for San Remo.

Great doughnuts, great bakery, great lunch counter.
