It does not seem that long ago that I heard news that they were getting closer to mapping the DNA genome. Now in the same way DNA helps map human growth characteristics, it is now being used to generate images of what people look like as they grow.

They have released sketches of a suspect based on DNA collected over 30 years ago from a victim.

Maybe from a blood sample at birth, the government will issue driver licenses, updated passports with dna provided pictures. Identity theft could be very difficult as your appearnce will be matched to a DNA based instant comparison.

Sound like a April fools joke! Don't think DNA Technology is that advance to produce facial composite of a person.

This isn't the first time it has been used to provide details about a person. Years ago I remember that a DNA profiler was able to direct detectives to the racial background of a mass murderer. The police were looking for a white suspect and the new (at that time ) technology pointed them top a black man. I googled it and found many articles including this:
