This one i think is a bit unqiue.....from reading the articles he's simply tired of the far extremes of each party running the show and not working together. From polling ,his seat did not seem to be in too much danger come the mid terms.Sad to see guys like this give up in frustration.Centrists in both parties are being squuezed out. It's not a good sign for the Republic.

I think this is the fallout from Reid and Pelosi over playing their hand after victory in 2008.... While, except for Rahm, I don't think this was Obama's strategy he let them do it and as leader of the party, is going to pay the price.

I don't know if it is the potus or if it is the policies that are floating around, a lot of reasonable people are going to be looking for someone to blame, for (a) not delivering on all his promises and (b) delivering on promnises.

The party has some problems of its own making here and will likely pay the price at the midterms

I personally think they should be blaming the people(in both parties) who have refused to use even a bit of bi-partisanship for any subject. To make a compromise on any issue.....It's a bit insane to see a people's possibly turn back to a party who caused them so much pain on so many levels less then1.5 years ago.If the Amercian memory is that short....well..then let the chips fall where they may.I think the next 25 years is going to be a fracturing of the Republic.I really do.There clearly is a forming of two distinct America's at this point.

I agree, not a good sign. When reasonable men and women begin to drop out it opens the door for yet more partisanship. Pelosi and reid have to take the blame for alot of the problems the dems have(as does Obama).
