Less men and more women obtaining degrees from universities:
"They" need to adjust the scholastic standards for males to get more males into universities just like they adjusted the standards to get more females into the fire department. It's only fair.

If they continue to skew the university admissions in favour of females over males, it will only lead to social unrest. Not good.

I work with lots of women in their late 30's and 40's and to hear them bitch makes you wonder why anyone would ever tap them.
They all live in my neighbourhood. They are all lesbos. They all have a chip on their shoulder. They are all looney liberal lefties. They are all anti-war and will smash your windows and burn your house downif you disagree with them. They all hate the police but will call them in a heartbeat if you accidentally stepped on one of their plants.

Between them and the porch people, that's quite the neighbourhood...

Speaking of porch people, I was coming home from the ballgame and the entire street was wall to wall porch people. There was at least one and as many as 8-9 porch people on every porch! August 1st is the height of porch people season.
Did I ever tell you about the "yard sale people"?

For now, it looks like we're in the minority.

sociual unrest my ass
I bet you that if the Government decides that unmarried men should pay $500/year tax - it would not go to unrest and men will swallow it and not spit.

I think you live in fantasyland. Never know a hot woman to hook up with short or short scrubby guy.
You are dead wrong. My best friend is short AND bald and his girlfriend is smoking hot. It's not because he has a lot of money either, he simply has a fantastic sense of humor and a great attitude. I may have heard him mention being short as a difficulty when dating only once or twice in over twenty years, but he NEVER let one or two rejections change his perception of himself, and his confidence and positive attitude has resulted in many attractive girlfriends over the years. YOU...simply have a lousy attititude.

Can you give us some examples? I am not saying this because I doubt you. I just find their complaints hysterical.

@freedom: It is the standard inane chatter about "I want a guy that will buy me a house. I want a guy that will buy me a car. I want a guy that will take me to dinner. I want I want I want..." What they don't realize is that in a mature relationship, or any satisfying relationship, it is as much of give as it is take. A relationship should be about sharing your life with someone, not basing it on what you can "get". They think that their pussy is still 21 and made of gold.

Oh, btw I read that second article. It was a good one. Basically it says "women don't know what they want or what is good for them". Naturally.

Good job feminism.

Excellent article!

I love this quote:

"My advice is this: Settle! That’s right. Don’t worry about passion or intense connection. Don’t nix a guy based on his annoying habit of yelling “Bravo!” in movie theaters."

Yelling Bravo?

Gives some perspective of this woman's delusions.
This one is a real gem.

Once you’re married, it’s not about whom you want to go on vacation with; it’s about whom you want to run a household with. Marriage isn’t a passion-fest; it’s more like a partnership formed to run a very small, mundane, and often boring nonprofit business. And I mean this in a good way.
After reading this, hundreds of married couples that I've met over the years flashed through my head. How sad and accurate.

A forty year old single woman is like a bakery that is trying to sell week old bread. People come in, say they are looking for fresh bread, and leave. Is the baker willing to lower his price? You bet. But there are still no takers.

For any man thinking of marriage, the following should be mandatory reading.

The Wifely Duty
Marriage used to provide access to sex. Now it provides access to celibacy

I'm going to guess that your single or in a very unhappy relationship.

If you look at 40 year old women as day old bread, You're going to be really unhappy in your 50's. Anyway what's wrong with day old bread. It's great in soup and makes the best stuffing. Do you go out to the bakery in your neighbourhood every day? I think not. I remember Sue Johanson, one of our greatest thinkers, comment that in your 60's and 70's you don't always thinks of the old IN/OUT as needed ands front and centre to put a smile on your face or get the endorphins running ( great pain killers), but it's never out of the question. My nana was an amazing women, but I've often thought Sue would be a great second choice. She said her children cringe sometimes at what she thinks but her grankids thinks she's amazing. She's in her 80's for crying out loud.
