I suspect most here don't believe that the Bible is the word of God. It written waaaaaaay after the fact by a number of people who had a major agenda and has been shown to lack truth and consistence over and over again. We're told to take it literally except when it's written metaphorically. Then we have to say which version do we use as the word from the over 30+ versions beyond what are considered the 8 or 11 original versions, depending on who you are.
