Charlie Sheen is Completely Self-Destructing

You have to hand it to him. Instead of quietly disappearing as another crack junkie panhandling on Sunset Blvd, Charlie is going out like a huge fiery meteorite racing down to earth in an inevitable spectacular conclusion.
Sorry, but I don't see how watching someone self-destruct is somehow spectacular or glorious.

As much as I think the guy is a moron, probably beyond his control due to his instant atronomical wealth, I don't find any pleasure in seeing the guy, or anyone else for that matter, on a fast pace to oblivion. I can only hope a huge intervention is critical for him before that happens.

177 shows is enough, and with Rose dating a mannequin, it is pretty much shark jumping time. The show has been getting tired even in the 6th and 7th season.

I'll get the 8th season on DVD, but I am glad is it getting canceled, and hope there is no 9th.

Overall, for me, this is good news. Save me a few bucks, and I don't know the guy.

Saw his father Martin and brother Emilio being interviewed. They called it a disease akin to cancer. What a crock! What they need to do is go over to Charlie's house and smack some fucking sense into him. He's a disgrace.
A crock? Addiction is a disease that often results in death and Charlie appears to be going down that road in a hurry.

What he means is the "disease" of drug-use is a choice, the disease of cancer is not a choice.

At least thats what I think he means

It's not as though he a good actor either.....
I was thinking of that last night watching one of the reruns. Actually, I think he's brother in the show is a much better comedian and really deserved the Emmy he won, and the maid is funny as hell, not to mention the kid, great comedic timing for such a young fellow.

I was thinking that the show can continue without him, the other actors on the show really make the show, the gorgeous girls that Charlie always boinks, well they're a dime a dozen, can get them anytime, and Charlie is replacable IMO.

I suggest Mathew Perry, funny Canadian from Ottawa, to replace him, he'll be great and much better. FatOne I don't think the show is done, it's still funny, heck I still laugh watching second and even third reruns of shows.

Finally, the real star of the show are the writers, they're unbelievable, not Charlie, he is easily replaced and should be for his own sake, he really needs to get help.

I 100% agree with this. The Charlie Harper character is funny, no doubt, but the foils for his character are outstandingly well played. That kid is a scream, and the maid, Conchata Ferrell, I don't honestly know if I've ever seen a better character. When she's in the shot, all eyes are on her.

There is no reason to shut down the show IMHO. Just write the thing into the series.Charlie crashes and burns and goes into rehab. The cast carries on etc. without him for a while. Too bad all those people including cast and crew etc. lose their jobs because of one self centered self destructive albeit talented asshole.

72-hour lockup??!! I think a 3-month lockup is necessary to clear that guy's brain from all the toxic sludge thats built up over the years

If the show goes under, I'd miss Rose. I would sure love to have sex with her genitals.

I wonder what would have happened to the "Rat Pack" if sites like TMZ would have existed back then.
They were friggin' wild.
I think a lot has been happening with celebrities and athletes all the time. We just never heard about it or it was covered up by "handlers" (i.e. PR people).
Whats weird is TMZ is owned by Warner Bros.
And they in turn have some stake in careers of Sheen, Mel Gibson, Christian Bale..etc

CNN asked Dr Drew (Pinsky) about him last night.

He appeared to be sincerely concerned, saying that Sheen was exhibiting symptoms of a dangerous type of mania and that he is clearly very close to the point where a 72-hour involuntary psych lockup would be ordered for most patients.

Here's an excerpt from the interview: http://piersmorgan.blogs.cnn.com/20...andled-the-charlie-sheen-situation-very-well/
LMAO. Why would Charlie listen to Dr Drew since Dr Drew and Chuck are Jewish?

Anyway, I am glad Charlie show is off.

Dr Drew and Chuck are professionals and they are trained to deal all types of stereotypes, predujice, and racist comments. These people need help and are under the influence when those anti-semitism comments occur. It will take almost 2-3 years after usage for Charlie Sheen's system to clear out and perhaps longer. Ozzy Osbourne stated last week he still has side effects from his use of LSD from his Black Sabbath days.

LSD flashback side effects or his brain is damaged beyond repair from many years of who knows what he did: endless coke nights, booze, grass, partying all night, plus more booze, coke, grass, etc.... :D

Anyway, Charlie Sheen is a case in study.
