CHANGE YOUR PERFUME, COLOGNE AND SOAP. TIME FOR AN UPDATE.

I know you think you smell good but you don't. You've been using the same outdated brand of perfume/cologne/soap for the past 30 years. You fell in love with it 30 years ago and have never looked back. You've stockpiled some of it and use it on all those special occasions. But the rest of society has moved on and you smell awful. You just don't know it. You smell old. You have OLD PEOPLE smell. I know you don't think you smell bad but you really do. You smell musky, it makes us young folks sick. Time to change it up. PLEASE, for all of us, go to the store and buy a new brand. You'll get more mileage with the young girls and studs.

Thanks for your time.

I'm over 50 and I agree. I change colognes regularly and use sparingly. I don't look my age,I certainly don't act my age and I don't want to smell my age either

I will be honest... I would rather smell outdated cologne, instead of sweaty gym junkie arse crack.

What....have to give up my old spice original scent....are you "axeing" me to do that after all these years! I would rather "speed stick" to my regular flavour.

With most humble objection ; what a load of crap ! Regarding the stereotyping - unless it is old folks covering their rotting flesh at an old folks home, I have not smelled any over powering smell coming from any generation of males or females. Au contraire - I've almost involuntarily cried my eyes out from the industrial strength perfume some of the dancers wear and most are in their twenties. It's a personal preference and from I what I've noticed with guys & girls - smokers usually reek either of smoke or the perfume they cover it up. I'm guessing it's because these ability to discern subtle fragrances has long burned out.

To imply that acting young and changing cologne makes you look young is very delusional. I've been in clubs where these dinosaurs are trying to pick up young girls. word of the wise - it isn't the cologne that they are running from.

Pretty well say it for me as well.

I usually wear new fragrances and if I want to remember a 'back in the day' moment or need to treat my skin well before I head to the grocers, not shaving for a few days, I have a source for the fragrances I wore in school. A few curious ladies have asked what the new fragrance is, and then comment, 'never heard of it'. The mystery is kept intact. Suffice to say I don't buy anything at the grocery store or Shoppers.

Polo (original green) I still like. I spray it in my car as air freshner prior to picking up a civilian date. They have never complained.

Tried Creed's Windsor at Holt's and like it, but hate the drydown scent (what it smells like 5 hours after application) in all Creed scents.

Tried using gin (Beefeater) as aftershave (cheaper than Creed scents) but that didn't go over too well and would be nervous going through the RIDE checks lol (wouldn't cause me to blow high, but the smell would ensure I had to do the sobreity test - "I haven't been drinking officer - I just douse myself in gin because it smells better than cologne"..."Right, mack...walk a straight line over here and blow into the breathalysizer please").

Once spilled a glass of Lagavulin down my shirt. That smokey quality DOES transfer to clothing and lasts a long time, but this stuff is too good to waste using it as a body scent lol.

For the hot weather in Florida a lemon/lime deodorant they sell at Whole Foods is really nice - it smells exactly like Gin & Tonic. It is all natural and so doesn't last long and needs refreash sprays a couple of times a day. This is my summer favourite and it is inexpensive too.
