It's like asking whether running is hardwired or not. Yes it is, but it doesn't mean we'll exercise that ability. In North America, most adults probably haven't run since highschool gym class and will do anything not to have to run. Lazy fat pieces of coffee guzzling shitstains that they are.

I think the claim here is that certain genetics lead to individuals who experience certain emotions more strongly than others do. Those emotions, such as fear and insecurity, make you more susceptible to Conservative political views such as "get tough on crime" and also to racism. I don't find that implausible at all.
It's wrong to say that this means conservativism or racism is "hard wired", but that certain things that are hard wired tend to push you in that direction. Of course this kind of thing would be rife with exceptions..

so is it a conclusion that white people tend to have an easier time finding employment? And guess who benefitted the most from ammirmative action in the states????? It was white women....
I wonder how many women get hired because the have big knockers and know how and when to do the killer hair flip.
That's changing. My wife has an ethnic name. She could have adopted my family name and chosen an english personal name to make her life "easier". But she didn't. And she still has a good job.
However I think this is something that's really changed in the last 10 years. I think 15 years ago it was pretty much required that if you had an "ethnic" name you were expected to anglicize it in various ways if you wanted a "real" job. Not anymore though.

A federal hate crime charge has been added to the counts against a man accused of placing a bomb along the planned route of the Jan. 17 Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade in Spokane.

A federal hate crime charge has been added to the counts against a man accused of placing a bomb along the planned route of the Jan. 17 Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade in Spokane.
The Seattle Times reports that Kevin Harpham is named in a new indictment issued late Thursday by a federal grand jury in Spokane. It adds two counts - one accusing him of violating the federal Hate Crimes Act and the other accusing him of attempting to use an explosive device in connection with the hate crime.
The 36-year-old Harpham earlier pleaded not guilty to federal charges of attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction and unauthorized possession of an unregistered explosive device.
Public defender Roger Peven said he hadn't seen the new indictment but knew the grand jury was considering the case this week.
The bomb was found and disabled before it could explode.

I think there is a real problem in trying to explain political difference in terms of genetics. Both Saskatchewan and Alberta were settled by people who would have been almost identical genetically. Yet, traditionally, you find a hell of a lot more conservative politics in Alberta than Saskatchewan. You could make similar comparisons between Canada and the United States. Thus, I would say that any role genetics plays in politics must be very secondary to other factors.
There might be a better case for racism. However, even then, I doubt Southerners before the 1960s were that genetically different than northerners, yet there did seem to be more racism in the south.

I'm not sure if you lived in Ontario at the time, but to answer your question: Harris completely scrapped the legislation in 1995, just shortly after he was elected premier.
I think the thought was corrected in a later post. The correct word should be 'Libertarianism', just sayin'.
One thing is for sure, being evil is an intrinsically human trait. Thankfully, it's one that will die out with our species.
