What I find funny is how the fictional character goes about about how we are all morons and she is above us, yet posts so much trying to prove the bullshit is real.
How the fictional character seems to believe that we are all just haters and jealous when there is the much more obvious reason that people don't like liars who spread their bullshit. If this person was real and as intelligent and smart and she claimed, she would realize the truth, understand why she is disliked and not bother trying to prove what is not provable . There are several group therapies going on here. The men trying to deal with being johns; the SPs trying to deal with being SPs and making enough $ to prosper; and the retired SPs trying to understand something or another. Much cheaper than paying for a formal session and infinitely more mobile.

I asked, he said you were right about it being after tax $50,000. He also said you lost 2% to 3% of the value of money 'left in a bank' every year because inflation and taxes eroded the money. Also $50,000 in 2012 has a lot more purchasing power than $50,000 in 2022, let alone 2032. You should index the money you withdraw over time.

$2 million can increase your standard of living, but you will need to work, collect a pension, or die soon if you want an average life style.

I need to learn about money because someday I will have be the one making investments. . Discussion is a useful tool.

Do note for next time, my original idea was a very clearly a conservative way of living modestly without having to work. At no time did I mention how the money would be invested, what the asset allocation would be, or the risk profile.
