I know it is the exception vs the rule but I have been to several weddings in the past few years where the bride and groom met online. I guess to sum up this thread in a nut-shell I would say; if you need to hire someone for sex or you would never get any then POF probably wont work for you. If you "hobby" for variety, and it didnt take you till the age of 40 to first kiss a girl, then POF will work if you put some effort into it and be decent to the ladies.
I think I may just switch back to POF from OK Cupid seem like a hit and miss with every one here. Any suggestion for a guy that is looking for a GF material to write down on his profile?

I messaged like 30-40 women on OkC in the 29-32 age group and nobody replied. Fuck it.
I usually message between 20-30 age group closer to my age I can't find any 30-35 that looks descent on there. I see them on the street but on the internet they look like there in there 40s and 50s not 30s as they claim. I've had girls that message me but they were not my type so I didn't reply back maybe I've should cuz it seem kind of rude but then again it seem like a culture thing to not reply.

I think some people just have better luck then others I always here people meeting there SO online. There ain't nothing special in real life so these people must be doing something right.
It's not about luck. It's how you post your profile and how you represent yourself there. Throwing in a little sense of humour in your profile always help. I was in my high 50s when I joined POF but looks much younger with nice toned body and post the pics showing the date of the pic was taken and sometimes mixing up with the pic of how I look while I was young and such. If you look decent and sincere, the ladies are much easier to approach. Of course it helps a bit if you squeeze in some pic of your dogs sitting in the foyer of your house showing you live in a nice place and such. Not that really necessary though. I still have reponse even after I wrote down I used to have everything but made a mistake and lost them all and such. Its all about showing the ladies you are sincere and giving them a little sense of security to make them easier to response to you. I was approached by ladies as young as 28 to as high as 55.

Most of the pics I put up are vacations, I'm clean cut in my late 20s most people still think I am in my early 20s. My profile is pretty straight forward and honest of what I want. Don't know what more could I do maybe I should add a pic of me and my cat LOL.

I get at least 5 messages a day on Seeking Arrangement, mostly from 19-29. What amuses me is when I get mail from women 40+.
