Not quite the same, but a year or two ago, I was invited to a few "lifestyle" parties. I was amazed at the amount of BB stuff going on. This was a group that met regularly and they implied that it was "closed" to outsiders... apparently, they missed the fact that I was an outsider!

They ask you point blank what kind of sex you've been having and if the answer is heterosexual sex only, even bareback, they would rather you not bother them. They ask when your last HIV test was and if it has not been 2 years - they tell you to go away.

Condoms offer excellent protection against bacterial infections - Syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, etc.

Only so so against viral infections.

Interesting article on those HIV scares in the porn industry. STI infection is significantly less than in the general population because they log every sexual encounter and have a testing regimen. It's not a 0% infection rate, however.

Condoms are insurance basically, the only time you will regret not using one is when you catch something or get a girl pregnant. You could easily have BB sex with hundreds maybe thousands of women for years or maybe decades and never get anything or get a girl pregnant, but there is always a chance. If you are sexually active and even if you use a condom, there is a chance (however small) that you will catch something.

Speaking of condoms, the 'origami' that came out of that challenge by Bill Gates is an interesting one. Don't know how practical it's going to be since it's enormous when folded compared to the traditional condom.

I haven't researched the topic but I assumed that there was minimal sensation loss for a girl which is why condom is a small or minimal sacrifice for them compared to a significant loss in pleasure for you.
