Great Card...I did not care about the first fight

I hope Cerrone gets a title shot after this win, he's the most active fighter and most deserving as much as i want him to beat the shit out of Khabib. I don't think any one expected Makdessi to beat Cowboy but he has a nice jab and decent footwork which were no match for the kicks he received.

Travis Browne seems to be declining, I thought he was going to get this fight. He took way too many shots from Arlovski, so his defense is really what has got to improve. He definitely got Arlovski with that one haymaker he landed though.

I thought Weidman was going to try to finish Vitor on the feet but his superior ground game is what got him the win. IMO, Weidman was exposed in terms of the striking and it's a good thing his chin held up. I do think Weidman is not unbeatable and will have his hands full against Rockhold and/or Jacare Sousa.

Cormier totally dominated Rumble on the ground which shows how great Jones' takedown defense is. If Rumble didn’t try to end the fight with every strike he would've had a better chance as his wild strikes allowed for Cormier to capitalize with wrestling. I don't think Gus can fuck with Cormier's wrestling if he gets the next shot, Jones will be out of MMA for a while.

What happened to Browne though really? Damn, I couldn't believe it, Arlovski looked like the soft one entering the octagon and bam! Gotta give Browne credit, he stood wobbly and all. lol

Weidman, surprised me a bit, he really doesn't have "it" in my eyes. But he really held it with Vitor quite well and finished him off insanely well. Props to him. I'm not "joining the team" just yet.

I felt bad for Rumble, damn I wanted him to win real bad, but the cardio and wrestling of Cormier, just can't beat it with a single over the top punch.
But like he said to Rogan, he'll learn from it. It's really too bad, I like Johnson, great guy, amazing potential to be a champ. Bet his ground game and cardio will be improved a lot lot over the next little while.
He's just too used to knocking them out so fast that his camp maybe overlooked his ground game a bit too much?

I wonder what Jones was thinking when Cormier called him out.

All around one of the best cards in a loong time imo.. Too bad we didn't get to see Rose fight as her fight got pulled.

Browne vs Arlovski - I thought that Browne would pull this one off with his reach and excellent footwork. I was wrong. I give Arlovski props though. 36 years old and fought with a pulled calf muscle.

Weidman vs Belfort - I had a feeling Chris would abandon the striking exchanges since Vitor is the superior striker and take him down for GnP. Chris is a very tough and durable dude. I would love to see how Luke or Jacare matches up with him.

Johnson vs Cormier - I was wrong on this one also. I thought AJ would land a haymaker on DC, stun him then finish him off with the ref stopping it. I'm starting to dislike DC though. More and more he's starting to sound like a prick douchebag. The LH divis is kinda weak now that Bones is gone. I don't see anyone else beating DC. I still would like to see Rashad vs DC

Cormier is becoming a douchebag lately it seems. Now I'd like JJ to come back and know him the fuck out.
Then after getting the titleback, give another shot to Rumble or Gustaf. lol

Jones will probably have to do some jail time, especially since he has a prior DUI
