Should I, and to what extent should I shave my pubes?

I've never shaved before but since I'm seeing a SP for the first time next week I want to be as hygenic as possible. Personally my pubes are long but neat and tidy. I'm thinking of just leaving 1/2 inch and cutting it with scissors.

I just clean shaved my balls and trimmed pubes. Must say it looks a lot cleaner but itches like hell.

Should I go all in and shave the groin bald? I read mixed reactions saying that bald makes you look 12 and that trimmed is the general preference.

I trim my pubes with a bodygroom shaver with the comb at the lowest setting. Old fashioned DE razor for the balls. If you shave, try using alum to disinfect and rub on some aftershave balsam like Nivea for an ultra smooth finish.

Being bald has a definite advantage in that it gives the ladies an assurance that nothing like a sore, is hidden inside the bush. The important thing is to keep it up by shaving everyday. If not, the resulting stubble will be very irritating. Just saw a young lady today, and she had not cleanly shaven her private area. Needless to say, the stubble was very unpleasant to my face and lips.
