France: Nice jihad murderer is Muslim of Tunisian origin

A 31-year-old Niçois of Tunisian origin was driving the truck that claimed over 70 people on the Prom in Nice on Thursday night.
The Frenchman was 31 years old.
According to our information, it was a Niçois from Tunisia who drove the truck. The young man of 31 years also fired on the crowd as he drove. More than 70 people died.
At least 77 are dead after a truck drove into the crowd after the fireworks in Nice.
His truck was loaded with weapons and grenades.
The driver was shot dead by police.

There were Canadians at or around that venue. In separate interviews, a woman (Carr) and a man (Olley) described their experience. Hope no Canadians were injured or killed in this attack.

France needs help.

Obviously with their commitments in The Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa, they cannot protect their citizens alone. By intervening in both theatres they made made an enemy of both ISIS and Al-Qaeda of the Sahel. I suspect that this attack was done by the later. It's even more significant than the Paris attacks since the terrorists struck so close to France's military port at Toulon.

Perhaps French security services need to work closer with The Mossad like SISDE has done in Italy. The later's partnership has been and item for a long time. During The Intifada, Israel played their home football matches in Sardinia.

I've walked along the Promenade in Nice. Beautiful street with a lot of history and always very busy with both locals and tourists. Very sad. :frown:

An Islamic Mosque, funded and owned by a hardline, “fundamentalist” Saudi Arabian cleric, opened in the Nice just two weeks before the Southern French city was struck by a deadly terror attack.
Town Mayor Christian Estrosi had fought a bitter legal battle with the French state in an attempt to stop it opening, claiming the owner, Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs **********h Saleh bin Abdul Aziz Al-**********h (pictured left) “advocates Sharia law and destroyed all the churches on the Arabian Peninsula.”

“Our intelligence agencies are worried about this place of worship,” the mayor said, before warned about “unregulated foreign funding,” according to French news site RTL.

The driver of the lorry was not known to be religious.

France has a large population of north African people, dating back to its colonial past. They have always been disenfranchised and have always been aggrieved and ready to riot.

I'm waiting for Obama's speech saying this could have been prevented with better "truck control". :frusty:

‘It’s a pity they canceled the firework show!’ – British billionaire’s ex on Nice truck attack

While many around the world were sympathizing with victims of the Nice truck attack, a British billionaire’s ex-girlfriend said she regretted it because the Bastille Day fireworks were canceled, making her yacht chill-out less fun.

The gruesome news of the deadly attack that took lives of at least 84 people in Nice shocked many in France and around the world, but not Kristina Sysoeva, the glamorous Russian-born ex-lover of Giles Mackay, a British billionaire and real estate tycoon.

“I’m doing well, but it’s a pity they canceled the fireworks [because of the terror attack],” she told LifeNews.

Shortly after the truck attack, the nearby seaside city of Marseille canceled its fireworks show, which had been expected to light up the sky in celebration of Bastille Day, an important national holiday in France.

While the truck driver, reportedly a French-Tunisian man, was relentlessly driving through the crowd on Promenade des Anglais in Nice, Sysoeva was chilling out on a yacht nearby.

“We were having dinner, and then a French guy came in and told us there was a terror attack, so we had to go back to shore,” she explained.

“And we were upset because we wanted to watch fireworks, but this bad thing happened and everything was canceled!”

The 35-year-old ultra-bling socialite then said she wasn’t worried about her safety, as “there were lots of bodyguards” protecting the party. “I’m well-guarded,” Sysoeva added, “I can’t just go outside with my diamonds.”

“I need at least two bodyguards to keep my jewels safe,” she stressed.

Russian Twitter users responded to Sysoeva’s comments with a barrage of sharp remarks, with some calling her “just a brute” or a “vapid and soulless creature.”

“Guys, don’t pay attention, I didn’t assess the situation,” she said in damage control mode on Friday morning, according to LifeNews. “I am very, very sorry,” she contritely added.

In the aftermath of the Nice tragedy, French authorities have announced that the country will observe three days of national mourning from Saturday, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said, while adding that “France will have to live with terrorism.”

France is defiant.

Today's time trials of La Tour could have been cancelled, they are currently racing in Provence of which Nice is part. That would have been a symbolic victory for the terrorists.

And as to the previous post, it's time for the moderate Red Sea Arabs (the keepers of the holy cities) to take back Saudi Arabia. The central Wahhabbists have too much blood on their hands.

Of course there's something you can do. The only answer is staring everyone in the face the whole time but people are too afraid to say it.
Please help me understand because I don't get it Shogun, what is the answer that is staring me in the face and that I am too afraid to say?
There are a bunch of radicalized young men, who were born and grew up legally as citizens of their country and who out of a perverse (not in their minds) sense of ideology go on a rampage. What is it I am not getting as the solution?
