There have been variations to your fascist plan implemented in the past:
  • Detainment of the North American Japanese during World War 2
  • Remember McCarthyism in the 1950s?

You're insisting that one needs to wait for more information yet have no issue with denouncing those claims where he wasn't influenced by radical islam?
Make up your mind...
The problem is that Islam still hasn't gone through the equivalent of the Reformation. As a result far too many seem to think this type of thing is ok.

If is was an occasional David Koresh thing then I could write this and a few other incidents off.

But to use a word favoured the of the left.....it appears to be systemic.

To all you "Islamapologists"on the thread I would note the following:
1. It doesn't matter if this particular maniac was ISIS inspired or not, there are already enough proven examples of Islamic Terrorism to illuminate the issue.
2. I also note with interest none of you have discussed any potential solutions to this obvious threat but sure are quick to condemn other points of view.
3. Also wondering what your comments will be subsequent to the next attack(s) that occurs in a week or next month? Same rhetoric?
4. Would you still be pontificating if this tragedy occurred in YOUR own backyard here in Canada. Or if you lost a loved one to these animals?

My point is, albeit I may not agree with some/all of the more radical solutions proposed by others here, the West needs to get its act together real fast or there will be no turning back. If the left-leaning types here are OK with their liberties slowly being eroded I can assure you many others are not.

ISIS told supporters to run over 'filthy French disbelievers' with their cars two years before Nice attack.

Abu Mohammed al-Adnani, pictured, urged ISIS sympathisers to kill the 'filthy French' anyway they could, including by running over them with vehicles

He said: 'If you can kill a disbelieving American or European - especially the spiteful and filthy French - or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war, including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way, however it may be.'

He went on: 'Smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car, or throw him down from a high place, or choke him, or poison him.'

Oblivion
France has a history of harbouring dissidents, criminals, malcontents, murderers, pedos, etc..

1) Trotsky and Lenin called France home before unleashing themselves on Russia.
2) Ayatollah Khomeini called France home before unleashing himself on Iran.
3) The murderer Ira Einhorn called France home.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ira_Einhorn
4) The pedophile Roman Polanski still calls France home.
France is a very unhappy, unsuccessful melting pot, with disdain for everyone. The French society is among the most miserable and contradictory in the world. The colonial actions of France in the past have repercussions today obviously. In general Islam will have a vast influence on Western European society and politics in the years to come as the population of European born Islamic citizens increases. More such attacks in France and elsewhere will become the new normal. The fire will be fueled domestically in Europe and by perpetual and innate instability in the Middle East.

From the article you linked

His cousin said Bouhlel, a father of three, told MailOnline he flouted every rule of Islam
The 31-year-old ... drank alcohol, ate pork and took drugs.
He never prayed or attended a mosque
a cousin of Bouhlel's wife Hajer, told MailOnline: 'Bouhlel was not religious. He did not go to the mosque, he did not pray, he did not observe Ramadan. 'He drank alcohol, ate pork and took drugs. This is all forbidden under Islam. He was not a Muslim, he was a s***. He beat his wife, my cousin, he was a nasty piece of work.'
Wissam, a Tunisian neighbour from the same village as the driver claimed: 'On the Thursday night he was drinking with a colleague and they argued. His pal said you're worth nothing and he replied: 'One day, you'll hear about me.'
Daesh would kill people for 'practising islam' the way he did.

I'll answer these

1. It doesn't matter if this particular maniac was ISIS inspired or not, there are already enough proven examples of Islamic Terrorism to illuminate the issue.

It actually matters when retaliatory attacks happen to Muslims and non-Muslims alike. These stories go unreported or underreported, so there is a sense that it isn't happening. If it is proved without a doubt that this was an daesh attack, it is no more or less horrific. But normally, when there is a non-Muslim killer, he (mostly he) usually is labelled mentally unstable, think of the recent murder of a British MP by a lunatic who held right wing views. He obviously did not represent right wing views with regards to violent tactics, and it doesn't take a genius to say he was missing a few screws.

2. I also note with interest none of you have discussed any potential solutions to this obvious threat but sure are quick to condemn other points of view.
Because no one with any ability to make a change is going to look at an escort forum for solutions. But as some have suggested spying on people who attend mosques, that's a fantastic way of ensuring anyone with murderous intent are never reported to authorities. Mosque attendants frequently work with police authorities if they suspect anyone with terrorist sympathies, once even turning in an FBI undercover agent who posed as a terrorist sympathizer to the FBI.

3. Also wondering what your comments will be subsequent to the next attack(s) that occurs in a week or next month? Same rhetoric?
When scores of innocent people are killed by a terrorist group or a government, it is equally tragic. We elected a man who would have put us in a costly, unjust war, possibly killing hundreds of Canadian soldiers and causing the deaths of thousands of civilians. We know the war was instrumental in destabilizing an already fragile region, and making it a fertile breeding ground for terrorists. Looking in the past is useful for not repeating mistakes. But my comments will always be the same, be there a terrorist attack or not. Stop taking cheap oil from Saudi. Stop allowing human right abuses to occur under your own noses in Qatar for a quick dollar. Stop selling any weapons to that region, even if costs Canadian jobs. Saudi is unimaginably rich, and is able to influence a good portion of the Muslim world since most Muslim countries are poor. And get the fuck out of the Middle East once and for all. Leave them to figure shit out themselves.

4. Would you still be pontificating if this tragedy occurred in YOUR own backyard here in Canada. Or if you lost a loved one to these animals?
I did lose family friends to a terrorist attack, not daesh, but a sympathetic group.

Islamic State supporters rejoice Bastille Day attack on social media

Sympathisers of the Islamic State group have flooded social media with posts celebrating the deadly attack in the city of Nice in France that claimed the lives of at least 84 people and injured over 100 after a truck ran over crowds who were watching a fireworks display along the Promenade des Anglais seafront on Bastille Day.

"The number of those killed had reached 62 french crusaders and sinful infidels in Nice, France.. God is great, God is great," a tweet read, according to a report by Reuters.

"Oh France, you and the all Europe will never be secure until we will live secure on every inch in the land of the Caliphate," an Isis supporter, whose account has been suspended, wrote on Twitter, according to a report by Vocativ.

"This is the beginning of the attack to take the holy revenge for the killing of Abu Omar Shishani, may Allah accept him," another sympathiser wrote on the Isis al-Minbar forum following the attack.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but supporters of the terrorist group celebrated the horrific mass killing. There was also a post asking all Isis supporters to hijack Nice hashtags, India Today reported.

Another Truck Bomb Parked near Nice Defused, One Suspect Arrested

The French Special Forces defused an explosive-laden truck parked on a highway near Nice, local media reports. A bomb disposal operation was conducted on a highway near Nice where a truck attack occurred Thursday night.

French police have detained one person during a search raid of the suspected driver’s house, who careened through crowds of people in Nice on Thursday night, iTele TV channel reports.

“We have seen policemen in masks take someone away, we don’t know who it was,” an iTele correspondent reported.

The correspondent also confirmed, that a bomb squad detonated a suspicious parcel while raiding a truck parked near the house….

I've heard reports that the truck was loaded with explosives (grenades) and guns, which had to be smuggled. Were others waiting at the end of the line to help him, had he survived? This is not as simple a case as it seems.

It's too early to tell anything about anything for this coup, but I heard an early report that maybe the military faction wants to align more with the Russians and Syria, but that whoever will run the show, wants to be friendly with the rest of the world.

French PM: Nice attacker ‘most likely linked to radical Islam’

Radical Islam is likely to blame for the attack in the French coastal city, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said, although he refused to speculate whether the perpetrator was merely inspired by religion, or had received terrorist training.
"He is a terrorist, probably linked to radical Islam one way or another," Valls told France 2 television. "Yes, it is a terrorist act and we shall see what links there are with terrorist organizations."

The Tunisian-born 31-year-old delivery man Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel drove his weapons-laden truck along the promenade in Nice on Thursday night, killing at least 84 people, before being gunned down by police.
Despite suffering the third major attack on his watch in just 18 months – following the Charlie Hebdo shooting and the Paris bombings – Valls praised France’s security forces, saying they were not to blame for missing the suspect, who had a petty criminal record, but was not on a terrorist watch list. The Socialist Party politician claimed that 15 similar acts have been prevented this year alone.

“What do the terrorists want? To divide us… Now we need national unity more than ever,” Valls told the host of the main evening news program. “We need to rally around our values, mobilize security, and stay calm.”

“I am convinced we can win the war against terrorism,” said the politician, who was appointed by President Francois Hollande in 2014, and has taken a visible role in enforcing the state of emergency imposed after the multiple Paris attacks in November last year.

Valls promised that French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian’s visit to an international security meeting in Washington next week “will result in an even stronger coalition against the forces of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria,” and said that support for France would only grow following the latest atrocity.

This summer’s Euro 2016 football tournament was thought to be the most prominent target for terrorists – which the government said was “a matter of when, not if” – and the country’s security apparatus was reportedly worked overtime to ensure that no attacks took place. Yet just four days after the final in Paris, security could do nothing, and the 53-year-old Valls, who has also faced a year of domestic protests over a controversial labor reform, admitted that the failure to save lives has left him “bruised.”
