So the avg 46 of ages for SD must be pure bs as well right?

Cheers,
avg age is even more of a bs because it merely reflects those who registered on the site. This number has to be corrected taking into account that people lie about their age if they want a younger partner, that younger registrants may have never shelled out any money so they are not really SDs, etc etc.

So the cost per month is up for debate, but is the general consensus that the statement...."A lot of the men aren't looking for anything sexual".....is a pure fantasy in itself?

A better statement will be "a few older men" might be looking for "arm candy"

but for most sugar babies... better if they hone their dick sucking skills

The average (or median) registrant on SA misrepresents both his age and his wealth. A 55yo SD with $2.5 million has got to be closer to the average SD than a 45 year old man with $5.2 million.

In 8 years I have had 6 sugar babies. I have "interviewed" over 100 (this is where you meet to see if it's a "fit")- not one of them ever had or was under the impression that it would be purely non-sexual. In fact all SB have said most men are looking for sex. I think the "nothing sexual" is a bullshit marketing phrase to deflect the sex for pay reality of the Sugarbaby industry. I mean I am sure there are men who want a non sexual relationship but I think that's far and few between

Most sugarbabies will tell you 90% of the men on those sites are full of shit. It's not easy for them to setup a reliable relationship in terms of payment and meetings. This is why some settle for a one and done meeting. Getting a reliable monthly payment is not easy for SB.

Just watched it. Like others have said, the SB/SD scene has its flaws relative to hobbying and you could poke some holes in the documentary itself, but I'm glad to see the SB/SD phenomenon get some exposure like this. I guess it's a small step towards general acceptance of it and more down the road.

Interesting tangent when the call girl author dropped by with a bit of tough love, I was wondering how escorting would be brought up and portrayed in this documentary. Came across as very self-confident and knew what she wanted out of this. Great to see.

I like Amalia's look...cute hipster girl next door vibe. It's available online for those who didn't catch it on tv - http://www.cbc.ca/firsthand/episodes/sugar-sisters

This thread made me a little curious, so I registered for one of the bigger SB/SD sites. Holy moly, there are a lot of popular MAs on there!

Agreed! Plenty of MAs and SPs as well :) seems like easy money for a pro ;)
I watched the documentary as well, full of bullshit but the finish is pretty accurate: whatever the SD does, he is expecting a ROI that is usually sex.
Some might ask why the trouble if the SD can get a luxury SP for about the same price? IMHO, it is about the thrill of the chase not the catch... similar to why some guys see MAs and hope for FS

I totally agree, I believe the stats are pumped to maximize the number of interested girls and subsequently paying male members.
