Shinjuku is the red light district, though its expensive. Never tried hobbying in Japan. Roppongi is another district that caters more to Americans, though probably expensive as well. Plus, not many people speak English there, so just make sure you agree & know the terms before getting into anything since I heard cases where people have been nailed for extras.

Many many places are Japanese only and run by Yakuza so it is almost impossible to get in unless you a brought in by a local. There is a language barrier also. There are foreigner (gajin ) friendly places, but the sex workers are mostly Chinese, Korean or Filipinos. Japan is a misogynistic place with many sex starved women who will fuck foreigners for free, these women are often unable to travel out of Japan for that reason or have already vacationed out of Japan and now crave foreign dick. These woman can be found in Tokyo on online dating sites very easily for discrete free hook ups.

There's no sense in looking for the 'hobby' scene in Tokyo.

I went to one place and they wanted to charge me about $50.00 CDN for a bottle of water thinking I'd just be a gullible, wide eyed tourist. Fools.

There's a plethora of women in Tokyo who will love to talk English or any other European romantic language with you. It was surprisingly easy to hook up and spend the night in lovely company.

Be respectful, very much so. The culture is not open to PDA's. Once in private, it's a whole different matter.

I didn't do any hobbying in Tokyo, instead just met women at bars and clubs. Everyone there is friendly and as Don suggests just be respectful.
