Sadly low pay, limited qualifications needed in many jurisdictions, and the attraction to power will lead to some cops like that.
hahaha! I pretty much just posted the same thing.

With all respect due, start a new thread for that mate....unless you're going to include Breonna Taylor's killing on this one too.Seemingly at the other end of the spectrum,

No idea how justified their initial attempt to stop the guy but guy drove for two blocks after the sirens went on, pulled into a family driveway, sat in the car for 5 minutes before getting out. Seems the cops handled it appropriately even though the accused and family are trying to portray it as bad cop vs. black man.
I get young black men in the states being worried about cops but this guy's actions sure didn't help.
I want these cops to face justice. You may not be sympathetic to these killers but you're only here talking about looters for the most part.
How messed up is that? What kind of sick individual sees that fcuking video and is more worried about a burning building? I'm not surprised since Floyd's life was only worth a 10 or 20 dollar counterfeit bill!
Now you throw in gang rapes to claw back some credibility. Get lost with that BS. Where are the gang rapes?? Stick to your looter gripe.
"Arrest the killers and shoot the looters," was your wonderful contribution.
Let someone explain nuance to you.
Funny (and more obvious than funny) how Smallcock and other idiot 'conservatives' never reply to these specific posts.I tried. But I must confess to being morally bankrupt.

These issues are not mutually exclusive.Malibuk thinks private property is more valuable than human life.
Again, since you're not as smart as you think, let me repeat what YOU, of YOUR own free will, stated:I want these cops to face justice.
I have made it perfectly clear that I would like to see a far more severe penalty than is even remotely possible.
Also addressing another concurrent matter is not meant to diminish this tragedy in any way.
Lowlife assholes exploiting this tragedy as their latest ticket to steal and destroy people`s livelihoods is a totally separate issue.
Any large gathering would just as well suit their despicable crimes.
They do the same shit for G20 or sports championship celebrations.
Since you can`t get past this illogical fixation on an irrelevant comparison, let me answer your stupid question.
No.
I am no fan of Trump.Funny (and more obvious than funny) how Smallcock and other idiot 'conservatives' never reply to these specific posts.
You think that looters should be shot on sight; I'm drawing the only possible conclusion from that regarding your valuation of life and property. These issues are not mutually exclusive.
Can you show me where I stated that one was worse than the other, or do you not make any sense?
It is virtually impossible to arrest looters during the course of a riot without unacceptable extreme risk.Again, since you're not as smart as you think, let me repeat what YOU, of YOUR own free will, stated:
"Arrest the killers cops, shoot the looters."
You want to afford 'due process' to murderers, but not for looters?
Make THAT make sense.
Bullshit. You think that looters should be shot on sight; I'm drawing the only possible conclusion from that regarding your valuation of life and property.
And anybody who thinks that looting is motivated by personal greed is a flunkie. The protestors are speaking back to the state in the prescribed language of the state, which is violence and theft.
LOL. Yes. Climb higher please.I am no fan of Trump.
I think he is a childish buffoon and a crass bully.
But I find many of his attackers are far more repulsive.
Then arrest them later...you know...like that fucking murderer! It is virtually impossible to arrest looters during the course of a riot without unacceptable extreme risk.
If they have impunity, riots and looting are going to be much more common soon.
NBA celebration? Say what??Bullshit.
An NBA championship celebration or G20 meeting would serve their purpose just as well.
`I was so distraught that I couldn`t control myself and had to steal a nice new TV.`
The murderer is easy to identify. Then arrest them later...you know...like that fucking murderer!![]()
These lowlife assholes belittle the tragedy as a G20 meeting would serve them just as well.Bootlicker, why are you so concerned about the inanimate objects being destroyed or expropriated? They can and will be rebuilt/restored. None of the black people killed by cops are coming back. Get your priorities in order.
They're pursuing -- successfully, in all likelihood -- actual justice for the murder of George Floyd. Police and government were already showing signs that there would be no criminal charges. They will likely have to reconsider that (at a minimum) in order to quell protests. If that happens the rioters will have achieved a tangible goal that wouldn't have been achieved otherwise (although institutional police violence will remain unaddressed, unless the protests are, like, the herald of a period of world-historical unrest). These lowlife assholes belittle the tragedy as a G20 meeting would serve them just as well.
All you need to do is to imagine that this guy is your father, brother, or son. Would you come here then to say how the video lacks context because it does not show what your father, brother, or son did, in an attempt to cloud the simple fact that it doesn't matter if the guy mugged an old lady, he did not deserve to die for that. In fact, whatever we know about the case is based on the police report that these same cops filed which suspiciously enough did not include the video from their body camera. All we know about what happened is because of the video the bystanders took. So, the version contained in the police report is worth $hit as far as I am concerned. It is good that the FBI is now involved and hopefully these criminal cops can be brought to justice.judge however you like.
most certainly a different outcome would have been desired but an incident is never as straight forward as when you watch it from the side lines. police train as best as possible in training scenarios and not real life. in real life situations we react differently than staged.
is it horrible the suspect died, of course. given the situation and the resources they had they handled the situation. shit happens when it comes to a crisis. people believing that during a crisis things should always go to plan is absurd.
if people would like to construed racism caused the death of the suspect by all means believe that. if someone dies and the other person was of a different race who may have been responsible does not automatically equal racism.
could the incident be handle better, of course. most time there is a incident debrief to discuss what happened. will the officers be charged with manslaughter, possibly.
I have seen this used in the field many times and this would be the first case I have heard of resulting in a death.
moral of the story, dont be stupid and resist arrest. a suspect could end up peppered, hit with a baton, tazered, shot or dead.
