And Sweden is no better off economically. Clearly hard lockdowns, as occurred in those 3 nations, were the superior choice to Sweden's soft voluntary isolation approach.

You have very little understanding of herd immunity amongst many other things. Herd immunity is not dependent on the number of deaths nor the spread of the virus in one country in comparison to others with a higher number cases.
