The only way to prove that masks do or don't work is a controlled study of two groups where one group always wears masks the other group never wears masks (and both groups would have the same health levels/co-morbidities) and then they are exposed to the exact same set of circumstances meaning that they come in contact with the same people. If they end out getting infected at the same rate, that would PROVE that masks don't work. And you'd need lottts of participants.You have absolutely no way of proving that
Having said that, I don't think that this kind of study could possibly be pulled off, so you guys may be at this for some time.
