I checked all 7 of your links...

1-published in 2009, deals with reducing incidence of common cold
2-published in 2010, deals with the influenza virus
3-the website is unavailable
4-published in 2016, deals with acute respiratory infection...closest case you can make for your point but still misses the mark
5-published in 2017, deals with influenza illness
6-published in 2019, deals with the prevention of influenza
7-the website is unavailable

You do know that coronavirus and influenza are different viruses...and it's 2020.

Can I call you smartypants again?? 😂

Hey smartypants, flu virus is approximately the same size as the Coronavirus.
Flu virus is 100nm which is about .1 microns. Coronavirus is also .1 microns

The link I provided is from the CDC in 2020 and is about similarities and differences...and the link works!

@Phil C. McNasty , where do I send the bill for the lesson I just taught you?
LOL....you should send the bill to the kindergarten school which apparently you have your degree from 😂

Dude we are discussing the pores in mask and how free floating viral particles can pass through.
Nothing in the article that you quickly googled has anything to do with the topic at hand.

Have a look at these 2 graphs and maybe you can figure things out

No we weren't...you said masks didn't make any difference, I asked for proof and you provided me 7 links that turned out to be garbage...I provided you a link from the CDC in 2020 that scientifically stated that they do...you than pivoted in a different direction.

Where did those graphs come from? If they were that important I'm sure the CDC is aware of them.

You put up a tweet from conservative conspiracy theory moron Mark Dice and a demonstration that 'most masks don't work", there's your first problem.

The conversation evolved where you said "masks don't make a difference", I asked for proof and you provided seven links of garbage, I provided one from the CDC that says they do work.

I'm not interested in you doing a Bill Nye thing with talking about droplets and aerosol...we were talking about "DO MASKS HELP"...

You go from Mark Dice to seven junk links to prove...if you're going against the grain with the overwhelming evidence that say "MASKS DO HELP" have some proof...instead you get all arrogant, acting like you are smarter than everybody and no one understands...

Now you've completely lost the plot 😂

Maybe you can outdo yourself with the next post though

Just to remind you...

MASKS DO WORK...despite what you are promoting.

No droplets in your example=no relevance to the discussion. Show us a diagram with droplets.

There have been a bunch of studies that suggest Covid can be spread through free-floating viral particles.
I will post them for you since you apparently need to be educated on it.

But first, are you and shack going to admit you didnt know Covid-19 can be breathed, sneezed or coughed out as free virus particles, in addition to droplets??
Yes, the first study on covid virions free in hospital air was published in the spring.

But that has nothing to do with the discussion. The discussion is your claim that masks don't work. The main vector of transmission is either respiratory droplets or aerosols. Both are larger than the 0.3 microns of surgical masks so therefore masks do noticeably decrease the spread of the virus.

If there ever is a study that shows free covid particles are a major source of transmission then we can talk. (and that talk will be centred around the probability that a particle of 0.1 microns can pass through the many layers of a polypro surgical mask without contacting and therefore being caught by any of the fibres.
