I'm actually surprised we rank above KoreansNah, this never happens

You miss the point. I am quite sure that you keep a close count of whether the characters in commercials are black and white and who are higher-status. It's just that....... no one else bothers to do that.
Because it's petty, pointless and trivial.
Actually Oracle probably keeps track as well. You can compare notes.
Is big business or people who are paid big money to countcount. What an Oscar you Must count
Do the Oscars’ new rules mean no more movies about white people? The Academy’s new standards are aimed at long-term change.

Yes, we need the same quotas in NBA.Are there going to similar quotas (as there are in the business and academic worlds) in the olympics and nba so there is an equal chance for whites, asians, hispanics etc. to win ?
Okay, but factor in that those Indian-Americans are first or second generation immigrants who self-select and self-qualify to come to the US. So you get far smarter, far more motivated examples than the majority of the population in their home country.
Are you saying that poor people in America are poor because they're lazy (i.e. "less motivated")?Okay, but factor in that those Indian-Americans are first or second generation immigrants who self-select and self-qualify to come to the US. So you get far smarter, far more motivated examples than the majority of the population in their home country.
That's why immigrant populations will always score more highly on several indicators than the population in their chosen country of arrival or their original home country.
I'm saying that very successful immigrants immigrate and succeed because they are motivated, smart and have the support to - probably - do well academically. Are you saying that poor people in America are poor because they're lazy (i.e. "less motivated")?
Picking on white men is the politically safe choice, that's why he did it.Please don't diss white men from Oklahoma.
I could say the same thing about inner city Blacks or Hispanics. That make you happier?Picking on white men is the politically safe choice, that's why he did it.
Wiki on Brad P....Please don't diss white men from Oklahoma. Brad Pitt, from OK, has been very successful and won't be happy with this comment.
Wonder why so many famous entertainers have "left college a few weeks shy of graduating" in their resumes. Realized they were going to flunk out?Wiki on Brad P....
Early life
William Bradley Pitt was born on December 18, 1963, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to William Alvin Pitt, the proprietor of a trucking company, and Jane Etta (née Hillhouse), a school counselor.[4] The family soon moved to Springfield, Missouri, where he lived together with his younger siblings, Douglas Mitchell (born 1966) and Julie Neal (born 1969).[5] Born into a conservative Christian household,[6][7] he was raised as Southern Baptist and later "oscillate[d] between agnosticism and atheism."[8] He later reconciled his belief in spirituality.[9] Pitt has described Springfield as "Mark Twain country, Jesse James country," having grown up with "a lot of hills, a lot of lakes."[10]
Pitt attended Kickapoo High School, where he was a member of the golf, swimming and tennis teams.[11] He participated in the school's Key and Forensics clubs, in school debates, and in musicals.[12] Following his graduation from high school, Pitt enrolled in the University of Missouri in 1982, majoring in journalism with a focus on advertising.[13] As graduation approached, Pitt did not feel ready to settle down. He loved films—"a portal into different worlds for me"—and, since films were not made in Missouri, he decided to go to where they were made.[14][15] Two weeks short of completing the coursework for a degree, Pitt left the university and moved to Los Angeles, where he took acting lessons and worked odd jobs.[14] He has named Gary Oldman, Sean Penn, and Mickey Rourke as his early acting heroes.[16]
Note: - Middle class parents. Dad owned a business. Mom was educated. Went to university.
Most white kids from that background would do ok.
Personally, "I don't see colour", in the sense that I see every person as an individual, rather than as a subset of a group. If I like or dislike someone, it's based on my own past experience with THAT person.
I find the notion of making generalizations about a specific individual based on perceived beliefs about others deemed to be similar to be an absurd concept, and perhaps that's the way I personally define Racism. I don't self-identify as a part of any group, and I resent when someone else arbitrarily lumps me together with some collection of individuals. I am not my brother's keeper.
lol Some middle eastern countries You don't have to work because of the oil money everybody gets an allowance. Yet Turn on levels are still pretty lowA fascinating map of the world’s most and least racially tolerant countries
2013 article but I've seen later information that is similar.
(one of the original sources; https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/kykl.12017)
TLDR;
In addition, a study back in February 2019 by University of Neveda and involved Oxford, University of Lisbon and Tel Aviv University. They had asked a number of questions about prejudice, including race, —aversion to out groups as a neighbors— world-wide. This included over 450,000 individuals, 300 surveys, and 100 nations for this analysis. So, pretty thorough.
- Anglo and Latin countries most tolerant.
- India (surprise, 1949) and Jordan (surprise, PLO) by far the least tolerant.
- Wide, interesting variation across Europe.
- The Middle East not so tolerant.
- Racial tolerance low in diverse Asian countries.
- South Korea, not very tolerant, is an outlier.
- Pakistan (surprise, getting the short end of 1949) , remarkably tolerant, also an outlier.
Results?
For ALL the results, Canada was among the lowest for prejudice against; different religion in general, Islam, Hindus, Jews, different races, and immigrants. Interestingly enough, it appears the country with the lowest prejudice most commonly I think was Trinidad & Tobago.
There was also a CLEAR link between higher GDP and lower prejudice. Therefore, if you want less racism or prejudice, choose capitalism because your GDP will be higher.

Makes sense. The more comfortable economically you are (job, house, food on the table), the more tolerant you are.
