It is a logistical nightmare to build shelters for 2.2M people, with Israel controlling movement of building materials in and out of Gaza.

Also none of those shelters will survive JDAMs and other western precision weapons that are specifically designed to bust through bunkers.
Are you kidding? Hamas has been building hundreds of miles of tunnels not to protect it people but to allow access into Israel so that they can go in and kill and then hide its fighters. This has nothing to do with the Palestinians for whom they could care less.

Given that Israel has totally destroyed half of the housing in Gaza, its going to take a shit ton of money to fix.
Sure but Hamas wouldn't spend it on fixing....they would spend it on more rockets....

Nice try...Palestinians are better off without Hamas....instead they brought in a group that is hellbent on cleansing the earth of Jews....they don't recognize Jewish state....so your narrative that they want a 2 state is bullshit...

Is it possible Hamas intentionally bombed their own hospital and placed the blame on Israel?
I wouldn't look past that...Anybody who's capable of decapitating a human being, that's not out of the norm....

From the evidence it was probably an errant rocket they themselves fired and landed on the hospital.
Those rockets they use arent exactly high tech. They are also not GPS guided

Latest word is that the U.S. has asked Israel to delay their advance into Gaza pending the outcome of the hostage negotiation. Of course, we learned from D-Day 1944 that one can't delay too long.

I am not talking about being a realist. I am saying that you could in your choice of words give this tragedy the weight it deserves, where 1000s of innocent Palestinian children are dying for the sins of a terrorist group instead of making light of the whole thing and saying "life ain't fair". You talk about better values. Do you think such incompassionate attitudes are better values? Just show the 7000 lives almost half of them children lost in this nightmare some respect man. That's all am saying.
I get that. But my heart is hardened here. Just as it would have been in 1945. I truly consider Islam to be an authoritarian threat. A death cult.

So its not making light imo, its just acknowledging the true horror with stoicism.

Those two posters, although they are wrong, at the very least directly quote me and reply to me. You have been talking behind people's back, which is my direct criticism about you. So my question again is, why are you talking behind my back, instead of directly quoting whatever you find confusing, and challenging me on any idea I may have expressed?
Since it is not obvious (no, I won't post a pic of Captain Obvious) to you, I try to follow the rules of Parliamentary debates whenever possible, although it is not always possible.

One of the rules is you address your comments, questions and answers to the Speaker of The House (The Chair) and not directly to the other person. I guess technically the "Speaker of the "TERB House" are the mods.

"Any Member participating in debate, whether during a sitting of the House or a Committee of the Whole, must address the Chair, not the House, a particular Minister or Member, the galleries, the television audience, or any other entity.84 Since one of the basic principles of procedure in the House is that the proceedings be conducted in a respectful manner, Members are less apt to engage in heated exchanges and personal attacks when their comments are directed to the Chair rather than to another Member. If a Member directs remarks toward another Member and not the Speaker, the Member will be called to order and may be asked to rephrase the remarks.8"

Anyway, you have access to all my posts in the open forum so there is no "talking behind your back".
