Elsa Lancaster remained loyal as Charles Laughton's beard throughout his life. Considering some of the classic films he helped make, him getting blackballed would have been a huge loss.
One aspect of this classic film I didn't like. Baron Frankenstein deserved to die.

The right to have an abortion and have control over their bodies is a big one being fought right now. Does that count in your books or no?

So you think you should have a say over a woman’s body?? You believe that if a man rapes a woman, she should still carry the child to term. Have to have shared custody and fight her baby daddy/bio-dad in court? You believe that if a woman could die carrying a child to term / she should still be forced to? Or you just think that as a man - who has a belief, should be able to control the body of another person?
I’m not looking to debate the merits of abortion. No matter your answer you have proved the point. Just pointing out / This is one reason we still need this day. Thanks for proving it to class.

I never have said anything about what I believe women can and cannot do , I do have an opinion and mine is I don’t believe in abortion . Now in the cases in which you stated they are horrible and disgusting but is killing the baby gonna make it better ? I don’t know

Either you believe a woman has a right to choose and therefore can see the fight needed to stop those who want to take away women’s rights to their own body. Which you can have the view against abortion and for body anatomy at the same time.
Or you believe the government should have control over a woman’s body. Thereby taking away her right to body autonomy that you have as man. So rights are not equal.
Either or. Both opinions point to a need for women to continue to fight for their equal rights.
That is not a feminist view. I think you - as a man - equally have the right to your body autonomy. That is why I supported vaccines but not mandated ones. No one should have the right to control another persons body.
So again, I’m not here to debate the merits of pro choice vrs pro life. I’m just here to show you that the fight for equality is still needed in the west which is a question you asked.
Either opinion on either side of the coin proves this and you showed that yourself. So thank you.
PS - the fact that you balantly say you don’t care about women’s rights, also shows why we need to keep fighting for them. I have shown time and time again on this site that I fight for men’s rights. Because I believe in equality. Not that men and women are created equally but that we should be able to share the same rights as men. To work, to have credit, to vote, to body autonomy, to representation in medical studies, in pain management care, etc.
