I just wish we had more material than Three's Company that showed John Ritter's physical comedy. Even Don Knotts called him the greatest physical comedian of all time. Quite the accolade coming from the Comedy King of West Virginia.... Even after the show finished, I'm just surprised Hollywood didn't come knocking with more physical comedy opportunities because he was a genius!

Maybe he fell victim to the phenomenon of typecasting. Just ask Tina Louise from Gilligan's Island about that.

I wish he was type casted. It just sucks that he never did a physical comedy role ever again.

Threes A Crowd failed because the plot of the show was not very good. I think that initially left a sour taste on his career up until a few years before he died when he finally got the role on eight simple rules.

My favorite threes company episode.... Macho Man season six.

This thread is supposed to be about the death of Suzanne and I've unintentionally hijacked it with the death and brilliance of John Ritter. My apologies....

Here's my tribute to both Sommers and Ritter. It's not my favourite episode, but it's one of my favourite scenes. Jack and Chrissy are in the bathroom hanging a shower curtain. Mr. Furley walks into the apartment and overhears them without knowing what they are doing.

Here it is, my all time favourite Three's Company episode "Cyrano de Tripper". This episode prominently features both Sommers and Ritter, so let it be a tribute to them. Jack secretly cooks dinner for Chrissy's new boyfriend who is a chef. Everything is good until the boyfriend makes a very little critical comment. Kudos to the actor that played the boyfriend. Enjoy.
