Lots of farm country, without which, you wouldn't have the food you like and want. I know people there, and they are good people, but right, you should dump on everyone that doesn't live in a urban center. Why are you being so critical of rural areas?

Can you imagine if a political party barred one of their MPs from running for PM even after they held their riding for a decade, and then slipped in another person running for PM into their riding with little or no explanation?
Imagine if that person they barred and removed was a visible minority as well.

A party leader losing their seat is fairly common. It has happened 23 times in 45 elections.
Poilievre will be back in the House of Commons soon enough and reminding Carney about his daily failure in making things better for Canadians while not being able to stand up to Trump as he fooled people into thinking he would.

Carney was elected purely because people believed that he could "stand up to Trump" even though he hasn't really said how he plans on doing that.
Trump will use him as his gimp and in about 2 years, after people see that they were sold another Liberal myth, the Conservatives will come to power with a majority and initiate real change. It's worth the wait.
He should not have to move out, but he should compensate Canada by paying rent while he is not sitting. I would say about 25K/month.

Minoritie govts will be more the norm going forward. The NDP will support Carney for quiet a while. Unless there is a scandal, there would be a high price to defeating the Libs.
Carney is greasing the rails for Poilievre to get elected to the House of Commons because he knows that if he got in the way, Poilievre would become the leader of the Bloc Alberskatchewan instead, and would be much more difficult to contend with.
