Tommaso Cruise's latest film MI:Lead Reckoning cost $400 million to make not taking marketing and theater fees, it has to make $920 million to brake even. I almost forgot, Scientology takes a 5% stake of the gross, the break even point is closer to $950 million. Tommaso doesn't mind, the religion cured him of his dyslexia.

What I like about this is that it seems it is following the book rather closely, which hasn't been done much in film.

In Gigi we trust. His version of Pinocchio was a critical and commercial success. Costing 1/3 of the price of the Disney version which critics shat upon.

The Jurassic Park/World series is not very good. Regardless the series is a cash cow, people love dinosaurs.
For Jurassic World Rebirth, they've recreated Big Sue. The largest T-Rex specimen ever unearthed. Since dinosaurs are reptiles, the female is always bigger than the male.

Adam Sandler hasn't done a public shitting scene in over a decade. With his sequel to Happy Gilmore let's hope he returns to form. The problem with the film - no Chubbs.

In the 1970's William Friedkin made three absolute classics: The French Connection, The Exorcist and Sorcerer.
Over time The Exorcist has lost none of its terrifying power. When I first saw the film, some of the narrative led me astray. I assumed that the opening scene was shot at the ruins of a city that Alexander the Great or Trajan had built, it wasn't. The opening scene was shot at the ruins of Nineveh, capitol of the Assyrian Empire - the original Evil Empire. I've watched the film twice, that's all I need. When I saw it for the first time the opening scene was censored.

Audiences love dinosaurs, the transition from Rexy to Big Sue will give Jurassic World:Rebirth a $120+ million box office weekend. Although the notion that any Mesozoic predator could stand up to T-Rex is ridiculous. It had a thick, latticed upper jaw that could deliver a bone crushing bite without the threat of fracture. Currently Big Sue isn't the largest T-Rex skeleton ever found, two other remains have been unearthed that are bigger than she is.
I don't know watching F1 without IMAX seems pointless to me.
MAGA are enraged over the Superman movie, they are calling for a boycott. Between Greg Gutfeld and Jesse Watters there's not much testosterone to go around.

MAGA is enraged they have full blown SDS, a film who's central premise is kindness is anathema to their manifesto. The film earned $20 million in Thursday previews. MAGA are baying for blood.

MAGA are foaming at the mouth, Woke Superman earned $122 million on its opening weekend - how dare the common rabble enjoy themselves. Haven't seen any of the Guardians of the Galaxy films, he did turn John Cena into a leading man with Peacemaker. I'm going to watch it in IMAX this week.
