IMHO, the US Army did this on purpose.
While obeying orders, they put on a pathetic "perade" to show their contempt for the Commander-in-Chief.
Hopefully, they won't cooperate when he decides to turn the military on the American civilian population.

Could you please provide evidence of this, since the US military says planning for the 250th birthday celebration started two years ago and DID NOT INCLUDE A PARADE! The parade was Trump's idea, something he started to push for during his first term and finally had the juice to make it happen this time around.
So, while Obama might have started the committee to plan for the US 250th celebration, it did not include a military parade to celebrate the birthday of the army (or Trump for that matter).
