I suspect the medieval mullahs are actually nowhere as despised
as Donald Trump is in Iran-friendly countries. Apparently it is safe for a world
class thug to be put in the control of world's most deadly nuclear arsenal.
Logically it would be deemed safe by those countries to consider it
safe for the mullahs to acquire the weapons needed for protection against
unprovoked sneak attack. Thank president Trump if Iran eventually
joins the world's nuclear superpowers.
They have zero air power...you can't have Nuke power if your sworn enemy has sophisticated bombers that outnumbers you 100 - 1.

Lefties will hate this

As Iran comes under attack, its Arab neighbors are largely AWOL

The American strikes are likely to be accepted – and even privately praised – by a Middle East officialdom that has long seen Iran as the primary threat to regional stability.

If Iran had hoped its neighbors would rise to its defense in the wake of unprecedented American and Israeli attacks, that moment may have passed.

On Monday, Iran fired back at the U.S. with a strike on the American Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, in what is already being seen as merely a face-saving gesture. Qatar said it had intercepted the Iranian missiles and condemned the attack, calling it a violation of its sovereignty.

But even as Middle Eastern leaders were quick to criticize President Donald Trump’s paradigm-shifting assault on Iran following 10 days of Israeli bombardment, the American strikes are likely to be accepted — and even privately cheered — by an Arab officialdom that has long seen Shia Iran as the primary threat to regional stability.

“These countries are quietly delighted to see Iran cut down to size,” said Firas Maksad, the managing director for the Middle East and North Africa at the Eurasia Group. “But the primary objective is to guard against blowback targeting them.”

Statements from the governments of Turkey and Saudi Arabia, for example, have stopped short of condemning the U.S. attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, instead only issuing expressions of concern over an expanding regional conflict.

The statement from Qatar and the United Arab Emirates didn’t even mention the United States by name. The most recent comments contrast with the countries’ strong condemnations of Israel’s attacks on Iran over the past 10 days.

“It speaks volumes about how they are very careful not to cross President Trump,” Maksad said.

Not sure what your point is but you've definitely been smoking extra-strength weed if you think the mullahs are not as despised.
Iran will eventually get their nukes if they want to, useless nukes I might add, hopefully it'll be under a saner regime
that doesn't hang dissidents and protesters from construction cranes.

In reality Iran won't have to attain nuclear superpower status.
A handful of warheads will be all they need for deterence against
the U.S. and Israelo. Iran does have formidable missile defence.
After the current conflict is over they will likely turn to China for
their latest jet fighter models.

They won't need a deterrent if they stop fucking around with Israel...

can't answer the next pride parade in Iran can you? They may look like a European country on the outskirts...we all know what's going on because of the regime...
Indeed. The far-left clowns on here and elsewhere would rather avert their gaze.

Not too long ago Donald Trump was characterized as the Hitler of our time.
It was a fact Trump the treasonous president is in collusion with Valdimir
Putin to sacrifice Ukraine to Russia. Apparently Trump's timely rescue of
Israel from losing the air fight with Iran has improved his image among the
anti-Trump crowd. I gather you too are no longer a Trump hater; you are
simply no fan of Trump. You must have smoked some potent weeds as well
to believe Trump is not as despised or hated in the world of Muslims.

You're putting words in my mouth then responding to them, what brand of weed do you use?

Iranian parliament committee approves general plan to suspend cooperation with IAEA

The national security committee of Iran’s parliament approved the general outline of a bill meant to fully suspend Tehran’s cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog, semi-official Tasnim news agency reported on Monday, citing committee spokesman Ebrahim Rezaei.

Rezaei said that according to the bill, installing surveillance cameras, allowing inspections, and submitting reports to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) would be suspended as long as the security of nuclear facilities is not guaranteed. Parliament still has to approve the bill in a plenary.
Joe Cirincione Vice-Chair of the Center for International Policy Board of Directors, was just on MSNBC and stated that the withdrawal of the NPT would be something Iran would do if they intend to move forward with developing a nuclear bomb. His advice for the United States government: "Find an off-ramp, quickly".

The IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi told the U.N. Security Counsel over the weekend, "it looks like Iran has, in fact, moved some of their highly rich uranium gas out of the facilities they were in. The satellite imagery showed rows and rows of trucks moving into some of these facilities before the airstrikes, apparently moving some of this gas. Nobody knows where it is.

According to Joe Cirincione, "That gas could be fed into centrifuges at other sites, perhaps unknown sites, and within five days, they could convert that material into one bomb, and within two weeks they might be able to build ten bombs. They may have already done it. Iran might have constructed the one weapon that they know could stop the U.S. and Israel from attacking it again."

It makes perfect sense.
If you play by the rules, and you get punished regardless, the rules go out the window.
