Looking into it further, Henry Dundas worked with William Wilberforce to abolish slavery in the British Empire. The Brits had troops in present day Ghana to protect the Akan tribe to keep the flow of slaves going. Sankofa is part of their language, Toronto now supports slavery.
The sinking of slave ships happened way too often. The crew escaped on lifeboats while the chained slaves were left to drown. Mayor Chow has turned Toronto into a laughing stock.

Wilberforce was a leading abolitionist who introduced motions in Parliament to end the slave trade.
In 1792, he proposed a motion to abolish the trade, which was amended by Dundas to include a gradual approach.
Gradual approach = delays in ending slavery.
Hence the allegation that his actions were supportive of slavery.
So you'd rather have tax payers fund this rather than women's shelters and homeless centres.
