The problem is that the U.S. electorate is currently not socialist.

Kirk's message was God, family and self-reliance. Before the anti-religious zealots jump in, Christian churches do a lot to help people escape their situations.

The Utah Board of Higher Education said Tyler James Robinson was a third-year student in the electrical apprenticeship programme at Dixie Technical College.

Most trade schools are staffed by ex-tradesmen who teach the skills of the trades. Not academics or sociology. Tradesmen do not consider themselves academics. You might say that good tradesmen are born with that inclination. Never met an electrician or plumber who wanted to discuss philosophy.

LOL, the "gun show loophole" is a lie used to scare the rubes into supporting registration. Whether it's at a gun show, back alley or living room, knowingly transferring a firearm to a felon is already illegal. Straw purchases are already illegal. Breaking the law isn't a "loophole".

Well, I think he was more than an influencer at this point. When you have the ear of the President, and are considered a future contender for the spot, it's a bit bigger than that. That's why the reaction is so big.

I vehemently disagree with pretty much everything he espoused, but to lessen his impact is dangerous.
