Meh, Trump will be fine
It's all about how much other parts of the govt feel they have to follow his, in many cases, illegal and dubious orders. Beginning of the year sure. But a few cracks are forming. Colbert was cancelled. But now Kimmel isn't.

If HBO decided to hire Colbert, and let him go off as he pleases, what does that say after Trump was crowing about it?

There is actual legal power, and political capital power. And only so much of it.

So I guess you didn't know.

It was a large affiliate owner(about 70 stations I think) that complained about Kimnel. This same affiliate is attempting to obtain permission to expand beyond what is allowed by merging with a competitor. And it came out that FCC was playing games in the back on this that they would approve it if they played ball for Trump. So not actually ABC.

But the fact they bended the knee to this bullshit hit home with enough people a very quick response to cancel subscriptions happened. Enough Disney shut down the ability to unsub.

And not just here. It was overseas as well.

So it wasn't bullshit. It's Disney backtracking, and Trump is now weaker. Once that dam breaks he will find that his mafia bullshit isn't going to fly with some of the big boys.
Stop it with the big fancy words and details already.

Try 'splaining it like King Trump

Dude, I am stage 100. It`s not a disease, it`s common sense. A 34 convicted rapist, a lifetime fraud psychopath, is currently the President. Idiots think it`s fine. Regular people think it`s not. And it`s not
77 million Americans think Trump is innocent of rape, and that all the charges were politically motivated.

Thankfully Courts rely on evidence, law, educated Judges and juries, not popularity contests.

12 jurors who heard the facts and arguments from both sides found him liable for sexual assault.

If things were judged by internet rubes like you who conflate civil vs criminal courts.

In civil courts there isn't even "guilty". You are found liable.

Regardless of that, you are not found "innocent" in the American criminal legal system; rather, a defendant is found "not guilty" if the prosecution fails to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
