Didn't Carney say we are already in a crisis?

She is looking out for her Province.

The choice is really simple...either the pipelines gets built and exports can flow to world markets or they don't get built and all those exports go straight to the US at a steep discount so they can turn around and export our natural resources at a profit. One option benefits our country and the other does not

Or we cut the $28 billion we spend each year on oil and gas subsidies and spend it on transition to renewables.

Tell you what Frank....if you want to live like a medieval peasant, then go buy a plot of forest up north and live your best life while the rest of us enjoy the fruits of modernity. Lakes Mead/Powell are evaporating, if they drop below a certain level the turbines at the Hoover Dam will stop rotating. That's a huge problem for Las Vegas.

Look... no mater what, every drip of oil in Alberta is going to be sold, for years to come. Its not really the federal government that is holding up the show. The provinces, the Indigenous treaties and every other anti group who shows up at these things causes years and years of delay to the point where costs have ballooned.. Carney i think will approve such things, but that is only a small part of it being completed.
