Trump is such a baby.. He doesn't like a commercial so "I'm raising the tarrifts." what a f**king a**hole. We as Canadians need to bite the bullit, close the border, tell usa to stick it where the sun don't shine
It will all blow over. It's just part of the negotiations.Trump is such a baby.. He doesn't like a commercial so "I'm raising the tarrifts." what a f**king a**hole. We as Canadians need to bite the bullit, close the border, tell usa to stick it where the sun don't shine
that foreign policy involves my country...It will all blow over. It's just part of the negotiations.
On the hand, where does Ontario get off getting involved with what is essentially a foreign policy matter. You might want to think about that.
There are no negotiations with Trump. You need to flatter him, say he is a great leader, lick his ass all over, grift some money to him and his family personally, then you might be in his favour for a positive negotiation. It will all blow over. It's just part of the negotiations.

Imagine the nerve of posting a video of an american president's speech. It will all blow over. It's just part of the negotiations.

Yes, but why should someone in Alberta accept Ontario representing Canada in international affairs?that foreign policy involves my country...
Ford is the bad cop who stirs things up and Carney is wise and diplomatic one. Alberta can do whatever it wants to do. The ad was clearly from Ontario, not the federal gov't of Canada. Trump's tantrum backfired because now everybody in the world knows what Reagan said and most know that Trump lied about it being fake. You can't really negotiate with the irrational psycho Trump, so just string him along and watch him implode.Yes, but why should someone in Alberta accept Ontario representing Canada in international affairs?
Canada's relations with the U.S. are a foreign policy matter probably best handled by the Federal govt. in Canada.
Nah, Ford is MAGA himself and playing Captain Canada to Ontario. The attack ad is fair but Ford won't stay in his lane. What he won't do is talk about the issues in his portfolio, instead he'll attack bike lanes and radar traps then do something like the $75 million he spent in america on those ads.Ford is the bad cop who stirs things up and Carney is wise and diplomatic one. You're 100% right. Ontario does not have the ability to negotiate foreign deals. That is the realm of the federal government, who can make treaties and trade deals. Now, I understand why Ford did this, Ontario's auto sector is vitally important and Trump's tariffs are targeting them (as well as the steel/aluminum sectors). And, the video is actually pretty smart...However, he's speaking out of turn.Yes, but why should someone in Alberta accept Ontario representing Canada in international affairs?

Reagan's practical position on tariffs was more nuanced.Ford is the bad cop who stirs things up and Carney is wise and diplomatic one. Alberta can do whatever it wants to do. The ad was clearly from Ontario, not the federal gov't of Canada. Trump's tantrum backfired because now everybody in the world knows what Reagan said and most know that Trump lied about it being fake.
Is there any part of Trump's character or personality that is not sickening > I cannot think of any. He is an individual without any redeeming qualities. Truly a lowly scum from the bottom of the cesspool that he once threatened to clean up - He is KING of the CESSPOOL and truly personifies it.Trump is such a baby.. He doesn't like a commercial so "I'm raising the tarrifts." what a f**king a**hole. We as Canadians need to bite the bullit, close the border, tell usa to stick it where the sun don't shine
Nothing like the peak today, $1 trillion added in 7 weeks with the new tariffs.Incidentally, the U.S. trade deficit hit a major peak in 1987. It was dramatically reduced by 1991 in no small part due to tariffs, quotas and other trade restrictions.
China runs roughshod over the U.S.It's ridiculous. This spat with allied countries might throw away the Western world's last chance to counteract China. Canada and the United States should have stood together to combat China's economic might. Instead we're squabbling, and I wouldn't be surprised if both the U.S. and Canada make concessions to China that allow them to run roughshod over both of us in a decade's time.
Like CUSMA?I'd like to see the U.S. and Canada move to form a common market. Forget Mexico. What we have now is trade that is more managed than anyone acknowledges.
That`s exactly what I was hoping for. I just don`t trust that it`s what`ll happen.China runs roughshod over the U.S.
Europe in recent years has become concerned about Chinese state-promoted mercantilism.
Canada is secondary not in stature but in the magnitude of the Chinese problem.
Europe as almost always will pursue regional economic interests.
I'd like to see the U.S. and Canada move to form a common market. Forget Mexico. What we have now is trade that is more managed than anyone acknowledges.
Fuck him, I'm sure everyone is tired of his BS, only Carney puts up with him.Trump is such a baby.. He doesn't like a commercial so "I'm raising the tarrifts." what a f**king a**hole. We as Canadians need to bite the bullit, close the border, tell usa to stick it where the sun don't shine
