No they will just set up special purpose entities to buy oil from Lukoil and Gazprom that will act as a middleman. The USA has not managed to stop Iranian oil, what make you think they can stopRussian oil?
Russia remains a significant supplier of Uranium to America as well.

Well there is a fire at a substation big deal. Typically happen about 37,000 times each year in the USA. It suspect it will be repaired quite quickly.
Sure, lots of transformers and fuses blow in the US and Canada grid substations. Even when well maintained and run.

Now Russia.... from the size of Russian mega yachts I can only imagine how poorly their power system is maintained and how much of a problem power delivery is... in those regions where Russia even has grid power.

Now... getting one of EUROPE's (not just Russia's) major 750 kV central transmission FACILITIES (not just a blown transformer or two). THAT'S a big fucking deal, not matter how low you stoop to dismiss it as "merely a flesh wound".

As for "repair". Did you see the big kablammo?!?!

I wonder what other substations they are going to steal parts from to try to get this MAJR rebuilt and running. Takes weeks or months.

Not "repaired quite quickly" 😂

you actually believe Russia ran out of armor? 🤣🤣🤣

I guess you are partially right.

As for tanks and APC's and IFV's. They didn't "run out". Nobody said they did. They are running out. And with annual production rate for tanks oof 250 units, they have lost 11,000 tanks and even more APC's and IFV's. Pretty obvious.

The other video says that while the outdoor stockpiles of tanks looks like they are half full...closer looks show many missing turrets, tracks and likely engines. They have been cannibalizing their equipment to keep the Ukrainian drones busy with blowong up Russia's "front line armour"

Russia IS running out of weapons. Russia using 9M729 missiles without nuclear load is just as DUMB as using a Formula-1 Racing Car for doing your Weekend Shopping.

Both Ideas are Pretty Stupid.

Russia isn't showing the Western World ANYTHING impressive at all, except that they barely have any common sense. It's pure desperation.

If its such a major and critical line then they probably have redundancy. So 3 or 4 chains. WHat makes you think Russias grid is unstable? Many states use to buy power from Russia before the war. Would they do so if the grid was off poor quality?

Because like everything, Komrade Obvious, Russia's infrastructure is primitively designed and of exceedingly poor, basic minimum quality. Redundancy? Maybe in getting double invoiced for work never done!

Russia neglecting maintenance of its infrastructure for years doesn't help either.

Russians dont even need Ukraine to have a cold winter. Through corruption and neglect, their infrastructure is so broken, they can barely manage to keep the lights and heat on their own. Ukraines strikes are only gentle little nudges in this direction.

Add in corruption at EVERY opportunity from skimming contract's, bribing inspectors to look past poor quality substitutions right down to stealing hardware and you have a fragile grid. Much of Russia's more recent 'modern' grid has been built with western components, western design and with western contractors and workers. Outside of the nicer areas of Moscow, St Petes and prize cities, most of the Russian federation infrastructure is from the 90's.

I’m guessing they don’t have many major powerline and electrical substation repairmen available either. Lost in meat waves. Power station engineers? Plenty of the computer literate left at the first sign of the 3 day SMO.

And despite the cuircumvention of trade restrictions, getting massive custom built oil filled mega transformers built (big transformers are in high demand everywhere, are not a stock item nd have lead times of a year at least. They are not stock items. So get in line Ivan... and you better find a way to pay for them without risking our real, legit utility grid scale transformer business from being sanctioned out of business or to great penalty.

But keep whipping up your batches of creamy Russian Khouy dream sauce 🍌💦to splash over your face during your deluded denial cuckold fantasy wanks. 🤡

Tomahawk missiles in the hands of Zelensky will be as effective
as V1 and V2 rockets in stopping the advaces of the allies from
Normandy and getting people killed and buildings destroyed in
London. Trump may decide against giving away the missiles
for reason other than betrayal of Putin. It is obvious to him those
missiles would not likely alter the outcome of the war. Trump
may still want to make a few bucks from selling the missiles
to Ukraine though.

Lets see if Trump betrays his master in Russia.

Pentagon cleared giving Ukraine long-range Tomahawk missiles, leaving final decision to Trump

Turnabout is fair play...

Ukraine is now going to hit a Russian heating and power plant for every one Russia strikes. Sorry Vatniks but you had plenty of time to grow some balls instead of tonsils and rebel against your overlords.... going to be an even colder 🥶 and darker 🌑 winter for the stronk weakling siloviki.

Comments:

-The war ends when Russia is out of heat and electricity. This and the economy breaks the social contract between the populace and Kreml!

-Tit-for-tat is scientifically proven to be the most effective way to deal with bullies like Russia. Forces them to feel consequences for their destructive actions.

-It's good that the Ukrainian are FINALLY giving the Russian a taste of their own medicine!

-And to think, Russia spent the last few winters already dealing with its infrastructure failing and its citizens freezing the last few winters BEFORE Ukraine started actually directly striking Russia's oil and power generation industries

-Lovely to see the same Russians who threatened us in Europe with freezing to death and eating our daughters pet hamster finding out they are the ones who will actually feel the cold. I suspect that Putin knows he will have to stop paying pensions soon due to lack of money so he will be glad if all the old people die.

https://carnegieendowment.org/russia-eurasia/politika/2025/10/russia-refinery-damages?lang=en

" The starting point for calculations can also be misleading. Russia’s refining capacity is not equal to output. Every year, Rb ussia refines up to 270 million tons—so at least 22% of the country’s total capacity is always idle (there are various reasons for this, but one is that there is a lot of old equipment in place that just hasn’t been decommissioned). Russian domestic consumption of oil products is about 120 million tons a year, with the rest sent for export. "

For all the dumb asses laughing at my facts. 😄😄😁🤣😹😄😀

Pulling them out of your factshole!

A shut down of TWENTY percent, is nothing to you?
And high prices of refined products also mean that Russia will now be forced to sell crude at even more dirt cheap prices to both India and China (which I do not believe are scaling back despite Trump's claims, and will just take advantage), who will probably sell refined oil back to Russia for a profit lmao.
All to keep a pointless war going.

And to be precise, it's not a "shutdown" of x%, it is destruction of x$ (or more like 2 or 3x of what it reported) of Russia's ability to refine crude oil. And since these plants usually have direct, dedicated pipelines to these plants from the oil fields producing for internal refinement, it's not like the Russians can just roll a few valves and divert that crude onward to Sabetta, Dikson, Dudinka, Khatanga, Tiksi, and Pevek, along with other key terminals such as Varandey and Murmansk for export.

Russia is SO fucking geographically huge it would be ridiculous to have some cross-feeding flexible network that can divert "crude oil" to wherever. As we know in Canada, producing sour bitument crude, only certain refineries were designed to handle that specific product. If the Gulf Coast refineries were destroyed, our pipelines from Fort McMurray would be useless as would be the tar sands reserves.

This is why the US can't refine West Texas intermediate (sweet) crude right down the road in Galveston.

Same with Russia selling their various grades of crude to India or China that can no longer be refined in the specific domestic refineries that produce specific products from the specific feedstock crude that was piped to that refinery.

These talking heads we hear on various media wouldn't know Texas Sweet Tea from Hot Tea.

Russia's petroleum industry is mortally wounded and has no hope of recovering until they lose this war, are brought to their knees begging for food. Then, and only then will the civilized world ever step back into Russia to rebuild their energy industry... and then only on the promise of giving hallf to Ukraine and Europe as war reparations until Ukraine is made whole, rebuilt and the world is fully repaid for their expenses in letting Russia defeat itself.
