Putin is not a real threat to us but our leaders want you
to believe Russia will invade us from Arctic north after
Ukraine is conquered. I wish Trudeau had the honesty to
confess our tax money had to be spent on Ukraine for
his virtue-signalling and photo op with Zelensky.

Putin IS a threat to Canada and the free world democracies.
The Russian shrimp's ability to fight above it's weight is due to his absolutely superior, second-to-none, ability to sow chaos. Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt.
And NO present day Canadian leader has said Russia is going to invade Canada from the Arctic north. (Please stop saying "us" when referring to Canadians, Vatnik)
The sovereignity threat to Canada ahs to do with Russia's ability to use their superior arctic marine resources (nuclear icebreakers and submarines) to exert influence or be the "little green men" who simply arrive in Canada's Northwest Passage. And we have no ships nor other ability to assert our soveriengity , least of all protect or defend ourselves freom that absolute threat.
So, de-fanging Putin through letting him bleed himself and Russia's overall resources out, in in our
best interests. Maybe not your misguided pro-Russian interests, as a Russian living in Canada. But it is our loyal Canadian interests as a country and as a people.
Not to us, but you also can't believe that Russia would stop at the Ukrainian border if they were given free reign.

So I'd rather my tax money go to stop Russia in Ukraine, using Ukrainian blood than my sons go and protect the rest of Europe.

No money is sent. The money is spent here on our military to help Ukraine.
Our leaders don't have to explicitly tell us precisely what Putin's future strategy of
military invasion into the west will be to fool Canadians. Apparently some folks are
already fooled into the anticipation of having to defend Canada on European soil.
I am sure I did read about Russian invasion from the north as one of the justification
of Trudeau squandering our money on funding Ukraine.

The US extended sanctions to subsidaries that they owned more then 50% equity, this increased the sanctions entities 40 fold. China forced them to cancel this provision AND the traiff for buying oil. So this means Chinese companies can avoid all number of sanctions by creating subsidiaries for this purpose.
It’s a paranoia imho. We in the west were ok even when in the past the entire Eastern Europe was led by the Soviet Union. The Russians aren’t our main threat. The islamization of the west is.
Not helping Ukraine is letting Russia takeover Northern Europe.
