My principle is not to do business with anyone who says I need to make decision "now" to get a deal / price.

I prefer email as I don't want to maintain a different hobby phone. So I book providers who are actually good with email. I miss out on many recommended providers who require text or deposit but part of the game. I respect their choice and understand the reasoning but I have my own reasons as well.

I guess the line if someone being nice and caring or just plain delusional that the SP really cares about them is quite blurry here. But then this hobby is about fantasies and I guess some people like more mental fantasies than physical ones.
