Everyone is saying Wednesday is a bullpen day for the Jays.
More accurately, it will be a bullpen/position player game for the Jays.
Look for Heineman to come in to relieve in about the 7th.

For BP game, I wonder if they will utilize Yesavage for 3 strategic at bats, he threw only 53 pitches in game 2 IIRC, thursday is a travel day, so he can still be used on Friday.

The momentum shifted from the second challenge call against the Blue Jays catcher"s interference by the Yankees coach which was total distraction for the Blue Jays. Beiber through 2 soft ball with not enough speed got hit twice on the roll and the rest was history. Tbh, Last night game Yankees won the game by captured a little breath window from the distraction in the third inning showed how well they have mentally prepared for that game. I was hoping Blue Jays could bounce back from behind at the 6th inning but their defense was not there. It's the game I would remember forever. The Blue Jays had the time, the skill, the moment but gave up when the game got tough. It happens again, again, again...

Let's hope the Jays speak loudly to them selves: " We've got this! We are the Champions!" Avoid all the noises of all kind! Have fun just play the game.

Let's go, Blue Jays! Keep fighting to the end! It's a long 9 innings not 6 or 7.

Why would they only put 3 starting pitchers on the roster for this series? Are the Jays management team retarded
Because the other bonafide starters are injured, Berrios and Bassitt, Scherzer doen't have it any more, he's 41 years old and he's been scuffling in his past few starts.

Anything is possible especially its a tie game very late or extra innings.

But my belief is the Jays plan to use Yesevage to follow Gausman in game 5... since Yesevage will be on 4 days rest instead of 2.

Safe to say, game 5 Friday. Yanks are destroying our bullpen.

That was my fear Sunday. The yanks killed our pen then Beiber left after 3 and they did it again.

Pitching was a deep concern but the offense's incredible performance made us lose sight of this glaring weakness

Staring is twice as good with Trey. Two high quality starters is twice as many as one.

But we have no top notch high quailty relievers

I think i got a solution

Trey is good for 5th game reliever but can he do it tonight?

Young arm and threw 70 pitches then 2 days rest? He should be good to go. Put him in and see if he can go 3 but very important is to start Lauer then save Trey for a men on gotta get a strikeout situation then let him go until he starts to falter
