Ono is correct, Goggle is a friend.

I was asked why Victor Osimhen wears a face mask, I drew a blank. Goggle came through, he suffered a fractured eye socket in a collision with Milan Skriniar in late 2020 - his eye popped out. I suspect he's going to be a Nigerian Zorro for the rest of his career.

Football Daily is following in the footsteps of Transfermarkt in assessing teenage talent.

A bidding war has already started for the transfer of starlet Giorgio Scalvini. Football experts say he has the potential to become the next Paolo Maldini. Juventus and Inter will drop out of the race, they won't be able to afford his valuation. I'm skeptical, Maldini benefited from playing alongside Franco Baresi for the first decade of his career. Scalvini earned his starter status at Atalanta, he has Rafael Toloi as a mentor, he turned 19 in December. If he moves will he have a co-center back of similar quality? So far the front runners are Bayern Munich and Manchester United.

Atalanta vs Ac Milan @ 2:45 pm

I asked you about Hojlund last year. If he doesn't start against Milan I'll be very surprised. The Bergamasci have a tradition of developing young talent.

The Serie A title signed sealed and delivered to Napoli. Orsolini (Bear Cub) has replaced Belotti on the Azzurri.

I tough Monaco was the ultimate talent factory ;)
I don't know much about Monaco except that Kylian Mbappe started his career there. Also the Savoyards (Former Italian Royal Family) and the Grimaldis are blood.

Its nice to see young kids making it big league at young age.

Its also nice to see players developing a bit later then usual.

Moise Bombito! At 17 he was going nowhere in Quebec development league. Rejected by all team of Quebec’s premier league. A friend of mine, who coach a low level college team just for fun, invited him to his team. He asked him to play as central defender instead of striker. He really did well and caught the eye of someone involved in the US university level. Ends up at US elite university and was 3rd of last year’s MLS draft! He made the Colorado Rapids squad.

Henry, Thuram, Trezeguet and Petit who won WC 98 and Euro 2000 all Monaco players.

Then Mbappe. But also Fofana and Tchouaméni.

They still have a few young promising players like Eliesse Ben Seghir.

jalimon, do you know what has become of Kevin Kerr?

He attended both my cousin's induction into the Sports Hall of Fame and Brian Budd's funeral. The bar where he had his Manchester United Club of Toronto has been redeveloped. He was a fun loud guy to be around, I got to know him better during the TFC initial ticket drive in 2006.

Prego Prince...no hard feelings.

I was born in Italy, am 1st Generation Canadian with ESL. Sunday Serie A is all I have time for these days, I'm retired only in name. CHCH started broadcasting Serie A back in the 70's with Bobby Vinci doing commercial spots for the Italian programming. He was also involved in perhaps the most under-rated Canadian sitcom as Duke Zarro.

What a strike by Theo.

Maehle ( called Moehle) is everywhere but Milan's defense is watertight.

Milan dominated, I was surprised, Atalanta is usually better than that, they had little attacking today. Maybe Maignan gave them a boost and also Big Nose being back motivated them.

Remember, the sun doesn't shine unless The Great Zlatanissimo tells it too. Paul Pogba could be done, he could have been playing by now if he'd had knee surgery. The knee has only gotten worse and he missed the WC because of it. With Nicolo Fagioli maturing, not a chance Pogba stays with Juve.

Ho no do not know him. But i once played with a young Patrice Bernier. He actually scored a header out of my corner :) Darn i think he was 15 or 16 i was like 25… I was still a replacement on a pretty good team. Each time i got called up i invited a girl to the game. That’s where i scored the most 😷

As long as we’re fully clearing the air. I was born in Dublin Ireland and also have familial roots from Wales and Southern England.

I’ve lived in southern Ontario long enough that I consider myself a Canadian now.
