Sure. I grew up with 4-5 a day.
People forget how bad it was in the US in the late 70s to early 90s. (Everywhere really).

Every major city in the US has had the violent crime rate go up this year, I think. Toronto as well. It started well before covid and well before the defund the police thing. Not sure what is causing it, but numbers are getting back into the 1990s era. I would hate to see that come back.

The 1990's gangbangers were all imprisoned, killed or grew old. This is a new generation and they are much more ruthless and they are protected by liberal lefties.

The solution is actually quite simple. Study harder and work harder. The Asians (Chinese and E.I.'s) do it, it's not rocket science. Instead the lefties come up with misguided policies like affirmative action and artificially inflating SAT scores for one particular ethnic group.
